EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF ACOUSTIC BAND ELIMINATION FILTERS (p. 4)

The paper describes the experimental studies of acoustic band elimination filters. The scheme of telemetric measurement of drilling mode characteristics is discussed. The laboratory hydraulic stand for experimental verification of noise suppression idea when measuring the underlying parameters is described. Some technique of carrying out experiments on studying the work of broadband acoustic band elimination filters in static mode is presented. Described ground meter "PION-1", an on-land measuring device, used to control the frequency of a turbo-drill shaft rotation, is described.

PRINCIPLES OF CREATION OF SOME COGNITIVE IMAGE LIKE "KALEIDOSCOPE" FOR FIRST-LINE INTELLECTUAL SUPPORT OF AN ON-LINE DISPATCHER OF OIL PIPELINE SYSTEMS (p. 9)

The article discusses the principles of a cognitive image creation for first-line intellectual support of decision-making process by on-line dispatchers while controlling oil pipelines. The tasks of cognitive computer graphics intended to help dispatchers are defined. Some mechanisms of operating thinking and their interrelation with the metaphor of the state of the main oil pipeline and the technological elements entering it are described. The approach based on Kiviat chart application is described as the basic image of the state of oil pumping processes in the technological sites of a main oil pipeline (TS MOP). The approach based on "the line of a hydraulic slope" cognitive image is considered as "a cognitive image of oil pumping process" in TS MOP. The cognitive components entering the generalized image – "kaleidoscope" for on-line decision-making by dispatchers and the methods of work with this cognitive image are described.

The article describes "SIRIUS" information system that can unite all participants of the construction in a single information space to provide control over construction projects. The article analyzes comparative possibilities of probabilistic-statistical methods (robust Monte-Carlo method, stratified sampling from Latin hyper-cubes, discrete quantities computations) and methods of fuzzy sets theory for analysis of geological-field systems uncertainties. Special attention is given to the uncertainty analysis in the absence of analytical model and to the methods of membership functions construction by simulation modeling.

The article describes some technique and algorithm of mapping the distribution of tangential curvature radius of the permeability field, ruggedness and structural surface with the example of A4 formation of Pronkinsky field which made it possible to get the technologies that allow forming new technological boundaries, dissecting the reservoir into separate elements with the previously non-draining stocks.

The article witnesses the fact that graduation of vertical metal tanks, designed for oil and oil products storage, by applying the volumetric method requires accounting for the factors of various strain energy effects on the deformation of tanks’ walls in order to reduce the absolute and relative error of measurements.
