The paper presents an exploratory analysis of statistical data on failures. In the process of analysis, each of the continuous and categorical features of the original sample is examined in detail, and steps to eliminate some of the features are described. The author presents scatter plots of the time between the failure of field pipelines dependencies and various continuous signs, also presents tables of the various continuous features importance. The result of the work is the final prepared data table for use in problems of predicting pipeline failures for internal corrosion reasons.

The paper considers the difficulties associated with the problems formalization of optimal management of the complicated well fund with electrical submersible pumps (ESP). The classical synthesis scheme: from models to algorithms, in the practice of optimal design is more reliable in reverse execution - from problems and solutions to models serving these solutions with the determination of the best result.

The aim of the research is to formalize the problem of optimizing the control of parameters and operating modes of a well with an ESP under the conditions of the action of complicating factors, an example of optimal design, a computational analysis of the properties of the resulting optimal solutions.

The considered approach to optimizing the modes and parameters of well operation has a hierarchical scheme for a control algorithm construction that corresponds to organizational, technical and regulatory information resources, the operating schedule of the ESP to failure, and the temporal nature of complications manifestations. The factor completeness of the description of the operation problematic aspects, the justification and formalization of the target indicators of the best solutions, are of the first priority in determining the law of optimal control. The considered variant of optimal control is based on the introduction of the secondary models of the complication evolution. The practical implementation of such solutions is possible in the class of self-learning systems.

The paper analyzes the process of gas compression in a centrifugal compressor (CC), identifies the main characteristics of the pumped gas and the operating parameters of the CC that affect the development of surge, shows the self-oscillating nature of surge phenomena and the possibility of using synergetic methods for the analysis of surge. As a basic method of synergetic analysis, the paper proposes the use of the Hopf bifurcation theory. As the mathematical apparatus of Hopf bifurcations theory for the surge phenomena analysis, the paper proposes the Van der Pol equation and the Moore – Greitzer model. The bifurcation analysis of the Moore – Greitzer model is carried out in the paper, the Hopf bifurcation points are identified in which stability is lost in the work of the CC and surging phenomena occur. The system stability at various values of the bifurcation parameter is analyzed. In addition, a bifurcation analysis of the Moore – Greitzer model was carried out with account of the anti-surge valve operation.

Keywords: gas pumping unit; centrifugal compressor; surge; gas-dynamic characteristic; anti-surge regulation; self-oscillations; synergetics; Hopf bifurcations; Van der Pol equation; Moore – Greitzer model.

The operation of a gas condensate reservoir with a horizontal well was modeled based on the equations of a gas-condensate system in the reservoir, expressing the balance of inflow from the reservoir into the horizontal wellbore and the flow equations in the horizontal wellbore and based on the influence of geological and technological factors on the performance of a horizontal well. It was found that the performance of a horizontal well is significantly influenced by the permeability of the reservoir, the anisotropy parameter, the diameter and length of the horizontal wellbore, the position of the horizontal wellbore along the height of the reservoir and the pressure at the well bottom.

Keywords: gas-condensate system; horizontal well; permeability; porosity; pressure.

The paper is devoted to the study of Coriolis flowmeters at the State primary special standard unit of mass flow of gas-liquid mixtures GET 195-2011 in the presence of free gas in the measured medium (MM). Depending on the free gas content in the measured medium, at different flow ranges of the measured medium, as well as at different water contents in the measured medium, flow measurement errors are determined with the use of flowmeters. An attempt is made to justify the influence of free gas content in the measured medium on the metrological characteristics of the flow measurements.

Keywords: oil; oil products; oil and gas mixture; free gas; Coriolis flowmeter; flow measurement error.
