The article discusses problems relating to development of technical and technological recommendations on quality enhancement of project trajectory performance of directional wells, including the area of stabilization while drilling by combination of sliding and rotating of downhole motor-diverter by the rotor.

The use of neural network technology to analyze and find the optimal conditions for providing directional control in the assigned corridor is proposed. Requirements for the allowable clearances between the diameters of the bit and the engine and for the optimal ratio of the lower section length to the upper section length of the downhole motor-diverter to get stable operational parameters of assembly of the low part of a drill-pipe string are justified.

Key words: project trajectory performance; combination of sliding and rotation of the motor rotor-diverter by rotor; well directional control; provision of stable operational parameters; parameters of assembly of the low part of a drill-pipe string.

The entry of a large number of fields in the final stage of operation is characterized by formation pressure reduction, gas production decrease due to increase of formation liquid inflow and its gradual accumulation at the bottom of a well. Salvation of the problem as well as maintenance of operational stability of watering wells require application of different physical and physical-chemical methods aimed at accumulated liquid removal.

The analysis of operation of teeth cutting structures of rolling-cutter drill bits in partial braking and slipping modes is carried out. Structural of geometry of teeth cutting structures of driven rows was developed on the basis of the above-said analysis. The structural scheme allows increasing efficiency of well bottom coverage by teeth elements, thus increasing drilling mechanical rate and footage per bit.

Stressed-deformed state of a drill-pipe string assembly with a bottom-hole screw steerable motor was studied. The maximum stresses occur in curved sub while transition from sliding mode to rotational mode of a drill-pipe casing string. Calculations witnessed the fact that a well’s diameter increase leads to reduction of load on the elements of a drill-pipe string assembly incase of small angles in curved sub. If the angle of the curved sub is more than 1,5 degrees they will change slightly. Cyclic law of stresses change in the curved sub was identified. During a drill-pipe string rotation maximum stresses periodically move from the curved unit to the steerable motor housing. When the angle of the curved sub is more than 1.5 degrees pressures can remain high without their cyclical changes.

Key words: drill pipe string assembly; steerable bottom-hole motor; curved sub; stressed-deformed state; deflection of assembly; stress.

The effect of filtrate of drill mud solution on reservoir properties is a complicated physical-chemical process. Penetrating into the reservoir, drilling mud and its filtrate lead to changes in the pore space structure and the near-wellbore zone permeability.

Additionally, the chemicals contained in the filtrate contribute to the rock of hydro-philicity increase and while interacting with productive horizon substances they can form insoluble precipitates that lead to the pore channels clogging.

Preservation of the natural reservoir properties of productive layers can be implemented through creation of tight, thin, dense filter cake. Thus, for this purpose the new composition of polymer emulsion drilling mud is developed which contains a minimum content of solid phase, based on bentonite clay, polymer-stabilizer, an ionic surfactant, a surfactant-bactericide-inhibitor and fresh water

To research the filtration properties of the newly developed polymer-emulsion drilling mud several experimental studies of plugging and drilling solutions, produced by OFITE, were conducted on the permeability tester.

The developed drilling fluid was also examined under various temperatures. The research carried out at temperatures of 20...80 °C witnessed the fact that temperature factor increase does not essentially affect the rheological properties of the system under study.

Key words: drilling fluid; polymer; emulsifier; water yield; viscosity.
