Bench testing of a drill string dynamics on the basis of mechanical models are complex and not objective. Some mathematical model of a drill string used when a well’s deepening, which served the basis for building of its structural scheme is proposed. By the structural scheme’s transfer function the column is presented as a chain of standard dynamic elements, each of which has its own typical transient and frequency characteristics. This approach optimizes the study of dynamic properties of a drill string.

Key words: drill string; mathematical model; dynamic properties; structural modeling; standard dynamic elements.

Regularities of speedy flows and pressure distribution along the height of rolling-cutter drill bits are analyzed. Influence of placement scheme of washing channels in a rolling-cutter drill bit on the quality of a well-bottom cleaning is studied. Directions of movement of washing liquid flows in the near well-bottom area as well as nature of distribution of velocity pressure and pressure of inter-cross flow along the well-bottom surface for rolling-cutter drill bits with various washing schemes are determined.

Modern drill bits are high-efficient and their choice when projecting the drilling mode is very often submitted to the drilling interval in accordance with a well construction design. So, the solution of this problem requires large generalizing characteristics of rocks mechanical characteristics of the drilling interval. Such section characteristics of domestic fields are groups and categories (H) of rock hardness.

The standard measuring method of rock resistance to destruction in the majority of countries is testing under mono-axial compression, according to which rock hardness groups are identified. Naturally, it is followed by manufacturing of drill-bit cutting structures for the determined ranges of compressive strength (σcomp) or rock hardness by stamp. Both indicators reflect rock strength characteristics but under different tension condition.

When testing both terrigene and crystalline sedimentary rocks, Poisson's coefficient dependence on their hardness by constant diameter stamp is experimentally shown. It required specification of the dependence between the hardness by stamp and mono-axial compressive strength of sedimentary rocks by means of using Poisson's coefficient as an additional argument. The obtained dependencies allowed outlying the borders of rocks compressive strength in their units of hardness by stamp and in the category of hardness. Besides, these dependencies allow recalculating the drill-bits applicability ranges, expressed in the units of rock compressive strength, in the units of rock hardness by stamp both in MPA and in categories.

Key words: rock; hardness by stamp and in categories; mono-axial compressive strength; Poisson's coefficient; drill-bit applicability area.

The problems of ensuring a valve unit reliability of a sucker rod pump are discussed in the article. The causes of putting out of order of a valve unit, including the valve seat, are analyzed. The causes of the shape change and destruction of the valve seat bevel edge are theoretically grounded. Analytical expression for determination of the efficient depth of the pump lowering into the well that provides normal work of ball-valve seat pair is obtained. It is proved that one of the reasons for putting out of operation of a «ball-valve seat» pair is the excess of the admitted compressing effort when seating of the ball.

Key words: well sucker rod pump; valve unit; seat; ball; strike; deformation.

The structural and mechanical properties of «Biokar» biopolymer system with additions of sodium chloride (5...25 %) and «Alevron»® organic-mineral colmatant (0,5...1,5 %) at temperatures of 25...150 °C are studied. Regression equations to predict the indicators of the shear value of «Biokar» biopolymer system depending on the composition and temperature are developed. The possibility of using sodium chloride in combination with «Alevron»® organic-mineral colmatant to control structural and mechanical properties in order to maintain «Biokar» biopolymer system stability under the temperatures up to 150 °C is shown.

The article describes the method of a formation parameters determination based on the data of horizontal wells survey as well as presents assessment of the obtained data applicability. Correlation coefficients for the theoretical and the actual curves of inflow and pressure recovery are calculated by the data obtained when testing the wells of complex geometric configuration. It is shown that the theoretical pressure curves calculated for each cycle of wells testing at Pamyatno-Sasovsky oil field have a high degree of similarity with the corresponding actual pressure diagrams.

Key words: formation parameters determination; horizontal wells research; obtained data applicability; reliability evaluation; input parameters of the mathematical model; processing of the oretical pressure curves; hydrodynamic data interpretation.
