The widespread use of variation structures for the chains of torque and its dynamic components measurement is determined by the quality of the transition process. The paper analyzes possible cases of transition when exposed to Heaviside function as well as presents substantiation of oscillation exclusion.

The variation structure of torque measurement is one of the rational measurement structures allowing efficient allocation of dynamic components. However, its widespread use is limited by the lack of analysis of the dynamic properties. This analysis allows making some conclusion about the reaction of the structures on the input action as well as evaluating its stability.

Indeed, the variation structure of measurement of torque dynamic components is a real differentiator of second order. Consequently, the characteristic equation obtained from the differentiator dynamic equation can have both complex and conjugate roots are purely imaginary. Such characteristic equation roots, as a rule, will indicate the transition processes in the vibrational structure by presence of the oscillation component during input impact, thus significantly limiting its use for the purposes of drilling control.

The paper the analyzes the variation structure on the example of the power measurement channel presents the solution of the characteristic equation as well as the analysis of four cases of the equation roots values. It is shown that the real option of the solution can be only one case, which determines the value of the characteristic equation roots as real variable thus completely eliminating the occurrence of the oscillation transition process in the structure in case of any impact at its input.

Key words: variation structure; transfer function; characteristic equation; transition process.

The article is devoted to determination of vibrations impact on the drill bits’ strength properties tipped by diamond hard-alloy plates. The main causes of vibrations formation are considered, a detailed description of the types of drill bits’ downhole vibrations, tipped by diamond hard-alloy plates, is given.

The article proposes a scheme of projection of drill bits’ horizontal resistance forces in a well bottom area. The researches resulted in suggesting two solutions of the vibration problem. They are a stabilizing drill bit and a special drilling fluid with high lubricity.

Implementation of the suggested development into practice of drilling will allow reducing the degree of drill bits’ vibrations and, as a result, increasing the penetration rate.

The paper is devoted to the urgent problem of improving the operational efficiency of drill bits tipped by diamond hard-alloy plates. Increase of drill bits’ strength is achieved by their treatment in cryogenic-magnetic field under the temperature of minus 196 ºC and magnetic field strength of 4000 Oe. Herewith, a drill bit’s operational life demonstrates 22,6 % increase.

The article considers efficiency enhancement of the methods that ensure control over parameters of clay drilling fluids. The possibility to perform multiple functions in drilling is justified by their thixotropic properties. However, standard methods of control purposefully minimize the thixotropic manifestation when determining the solution viscosity parameters while the kinetics of its structure formation is only limited by two dots on the performance curve. All this reduces the information content of the measured parameters being liable to inconsistent conclusions.

With account of the latest achievements of physical-chemical mechanics and rheology of disperse systems the paper wholly covers and analyzes the following: colloid-chemical properties of clay dispersions, defining drilling fluids characteristics; stages of control methods development and the reasons for their being low informative.

Different types of modern drilling fluid solutions with various thixotropic and relaxation properties are discusses, the causes of such differences occurrence as well as their influence on the drilling process efficiency are shown. The necessity of improving the methods of quality evaluation of clay-powder is proved.

A new integrated method of drilling fluids’ quality estimation, which allows accounting the processes of their structure formation in the dynamic and static conditions as well as the prehistory during the drilling process are proposed. The causes of errors when determining the structural and rheological parameters are considered. The complex of proposed parameters can be defined by means of standard applicable equipment and serve as an addition to the existing methods of control.

Key words: clay drilling fluids; rheology; thixotropy; structure formation; pseudo-plasticity; rheometry; plastometers; viscosity meters.

Casing strings cementation is a rather important and necessary operation during wells construction which is considerably complicated by presence of highly-permeable rocks in the section which results in possible absorption of a grouting solution and its incomplete lifting to the design values. One of the methods, preventing absorptions during cementation, is using of the facilitated grouting solutions. The paper analyzes the showings of properties of facilitated grouting solutions and mixtures. Laboratory researches which resulted in proving the fact that reinforcement by grouting mixes fibers promotes increase of a cement stone durability both when compressing and bending are conducted. Gas-block, foam-glass and fiber in most cases contribute to quite substantial increase of a cement stone durability and colmatage efficiency enhancement.

Key words: facilitated grouting solutions and mixtures; highly-permeable rocks; absorption; a cement stone.

The paper describes the main difficulties that occur when drilling horizontal wells in the Devonian horizon at the fields of PJSC «Tatneft», as well as fundamental reasons causing them. One of the ways of solving the existing problems, such as high time costs of a well bore preparation for a casing string running down to the intervals with a high zenith angle, high risks of casing strings’ incomplete reaching the designed well bottom area due to rock collapse, is application of the technology of a casing string running down together with rotation. It is described the experience of running down of a casing string lower section with a high-torque thread and reaming shoe is described. A brief cost-effectiveness of this technology is presented.

The paper presents a permanent connection of pipes, consisting of a sleeve with a form memory effect (FME). Some variant of the connection design calculation made of titanium nickelide (NiTi) is proposed. The suggested method of connection is based on the use of the material with FME in the sleeve permanent connection.

Currently alloys with the form memory effect (FME) are rather widely used in various industries. NiTi is one of the most well-known materials with the form memory effect. It is an alloy that combines high mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, damping capacity and functional properties related to the reversibility of large inelastic deformations.

Small service life of steel oil and gas field pipelines is one of the most important problems caused by corrosion activity of the products being pumped. Now for the construction of field flowlines there used pipes with a high resistance to corrosive environments. When installing these pipes, the welded joint area is exposed to the influence of the product being pumped, thus nullifying all the positive effects of their use.

Experiments of the capillary displacement of oil by the distillate water with acid and alkaline additives have been carried out.

The experiments proved the fact that oil doesn’t penetrate into the permeable medium and doesn’t displace the water under the capillary forces influence.

If opposite hydrocarbon fluids are used, then oil penetration into the permeable medium can be expected.
