Researches of many domestic and foreign scientists show that sticking is one of the most often found and labor-consuming types of accidents which can occupy from 32 to 47 % (the Timano-Pechorsky province, Tyumen, Bashkortostan) overall balance of emergency time and demand considerable time and money to eliminate it. Therefore, the research and the analysis of the causes of the differential sticking occurrences characteristic of high-permeable rocks, is undoubtedly an urgent problem. The article studies and analyzes the main reasons for occurrence of differential sticking in high-permeable rocks. Pilot studies with the use of both the domestic, and import equipment and materials are conducted. Quantitative dependences of various factors influencing the intensity of differential sticking are fixed.

Keywords: differential sticking; permeability; pressure drop; adhesion; density; filtration; lubricant additives; area and time of contact.

Specific features of kinematics of multiple roller-cone drill-bits in conditions of reactive turbo-drilling is considered in the article. The kinematics of drill bit roller-cones working with drill-bit cutting structures, sliding along the well bottom, is analyzed. The factors that affect the magnitude and direction of sliding of the teeth of drill-bit cutting structures along the well bottom are determined. The shortcomings of geometry of drill-bit cutting structures, designed for full diameter drilling, when used in reactive turbo-drilling (RTD) aggregates, are detected. The research conducted in the article allows to conclude that manufacture of larger diameter drill bits, using sections of the standard box-type bits for full diameter drilling is not rational, because the geometry of cutting structures of conventional drill bits does not consider the specific features of interaction of the teeth of drill-bit cutting structures with wells bottom surface in conditions of RTB.

Keywords: reactive turbo-drilling; drill bit roller-cone; instantaneous axis of rotation.

The analysis of the experience of horizontal wells drilling through unstable clay rocks suggests that the problem of a drilling fluid choice for this type of wells is very important, despite the widespread use of oil-based muds. The article presents the theoretical approaches and the concept of the choice of the drilling fluid’s component composition and parameters to drill wells through unstable clay sediments, represented by lightly crumbling shales and marls. Evaluation of the effect of the type and composition of a drilling fluid on the shales stability, which are characterized by internal fracturing, is a very complex problem, caused by the difficulty of core material obtaining and the absence of standard techniques to conduct researching. To substantiate the selection of the drilling mud composition, the methods of measurement of rock samples strength and deformation properties, the dispersing ability of drilling fluids, the nature and intensity of osmotic processes in the system «mud – rock» were used. All studies were conducted using natural cores of unstable terrigenous deposits. The strategy of drilling mud composition selection, presented in the article, will be useful for the specialists engaged in the design and development of technological fluids for wells construction in difficult geological-technical conditions.

Keywords: invert-emulsion drilling fluids; inhibition of clay hydration; methods of inhibitory properties evaluation; well walls stability; oil-based mud solutions.

The methods of estimation of wells cementation quality by means of thermometry, radioactive method, method of gamma-gamma logging, method of cementation acoustic control, are widely spread in wells drilling practice. But all of them have well-known shortcomings:

That’s why it is therefore suggested to simultaneously apply two independent methods to estimate the quality of a wellbore cementation.

The first one is based on the measurement in a well’s mouth of pressure drop in the annulus when stimulating inflow out of a formation.

The second one lies in the use of CET device (Schlumberger) to determine cement distribution, cementation quality and violation in a column, using the method of resonance.

As stimulation of the inflow out of a formation is achieved by gradual reduction of hydrostatical pressure inside the casing (operating) casing string and on condition of non-tightness of the annulus space (presence of connection channels), then, at different depressions, the vacuum gauge will show different pressures, for example, 0,1; 0,09; 0,07 Mpa, etc. and it becomes clear that the manometer will give the same showings. The reliability of the measurements raises thus allowing to determine the true tightness of the well’s annulus. Due to the fact that the well is not idle during a period of time required for measurements by means of the method of cementation acoustic control and other methods, technical-economic showings increase.

Researches of many domestic and foreign scientists show that the cement stone, when contacting with hydrogen sulfide, can be fully destroyed in less than a year, thus leading to a number of complications and accidents both during drilling, and operation of wells. Therefore, development of the grouting solutions and mixes resistant to hydrogen sulfide is undoubtedly urgent. Theoretical and laboratory researches conducted to define corrosion resistance of a cement stone in the conditions of hydrogen sulfide aggression are presented in the article. Compositions of the grouting solutions and mixtures used when cementing wells in the conditions of hydrogen sulfide aggression are considered as well. It is shown that decrease of a cement stone permeability reduces its corrosion by hostile environment. Laboratory researches of sulfate-resistant cement together with modern additives reducing water and gas permeability of the well bottom zone of a formation are conducted. Coefficients of corrosion resistance of a cement stone in the formation water containing the dissolved hydrogen sulfide are established.

Keywords: hydrogen sulfide aggression; grouting solutions and mixtures; cement stone corrosion; compression and bending strength; coefficient of corrosion resistance.

The article discusses the effect of random mechanical impacts during installation, maintenance and operation of underground pipelines on the reliability of the insulating protective polymer coating. A mechanical damage of the polymeric protective coating, which leads to disruption of its continuity is considered one of the main problems. Probability of a pipeline failure and the subsequent damage caused by emergency situations (ES), which depends on the preservation of the protective coating continuity is also discussed.

Keywords: mechanical impact; continuity of the protective coating; risk of emergency; cathodic polarization; trouble-free operation.
