A METHOD OF THE STUCK DRILLING TOOL RELEASE (p. 4)
Yagub Ismail Safarov, Elshan Tofig Ismailov
Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry 20, Azadlig prosp., Az1010, Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, e-mail: yaqub-safarov@mail.ru
The article attempts to determine the static and dynamic deformations of rocks in case of the stuck tools’ reciprocating movement, taking into account such basic contact factors as the contact temperature, the friction force, the contact pressure, the mechanical properties and geometric dimensions of the bodies in contact. It is assumed that the surface of one of them is an elastic layer (permeable rock), and the second one – the rigid body (drill pipe) that is pressed against the elastic one by some normal force. Based on the theoretical studies, obtained by the calculation formulas, the dependence of the deformation on the friction coefficient with account of the contact pressure, the rocks mechanical properties, the contact temperature and the geometrical dimensions of the elastic body are determined.
Keywords: sticking; pressure drop; drilling fluid; drilling tool.

Use of chemically treated addition-free Portland cement slurries and grouting mortars based on barite, sand, etc. as weighting additives to addition-free cement mixes as well as microspheres, clay powder, rubber, marble crumbs et al as facilitating additives to addition-free cement mixes for primary cementing of different casings strings gives rise to the above-mentioned complications of the cementing process and the early water-flooding of wells. Contraction of Portland cement and grouting mortars-stones, that steadily increase in time and with temperature rise, reach 5–7 % or more, and this fact contributes to the formation of large pressure drops along the wellbore and the appearance of a variety of complications, leading, in some cases, to emissions and open flows. The developed powder-like expanding grouting mixture forms aerated and constant density grouting mixtures during the hydration process and grouting stones with a large volume expansion during the hydration hardening.
Keywords: cementing of casing strings; complications that arise during cementing of casing strings; grouting mortar; expanding grouting mixtures.

The article presents the research results of contractional pressure drop as compared to the cement stone strength while hardening of Portland cement slurries with oxide expansion agent. The methods of contraction compensation and vacuum development by using mineral or gas generating agents are considered. Possibility of receiving low contraction systems due to the pore pressure increase in the slurry/rock by the gas generating agent is determined. Their potential for casing strings cementing is shown.
Keywords: contraction; pressure drop; hardening; portland cement slurry; gas generating agent.

This article discusses the possibility of wave technologies application developed in Scientific Center of Non-Linear Wave Mechanics and Technology, RAS, under the supervision of academician R.F. Ganiev, to recover oil and gas from the blocked zones of formations-reservoirs. This fact leads to consideration of the problem of wave penetration depth into the saturated porous medium of a formation. It is important when studying some specific features of physical processes occurring in a rock under the influence of the wave field.

It is shown that the magnitude of the radiation heat flow during a gas pipeline fire can be defined for scenarios S1 – a column type fire and S2 – a stream fire, with account of the adapted expressions of evaluation of the angular coefficient of radiation and absorption coefficient of thermal radiation under the known humidity of the atmospheric air at the point of the fire. The existing methods are cumbersome and overfilled with data, thus complicating their use in the engineering practice. This article is devoted to the method of calculation applied to determine the radiative heat flow values during the fire on the main gas pipeline.
Keywords: radiation heat flow; angular coefficient; coefficient of thermal radiation absorption.
