A single-loop variation structure used as a measuring transmitter to allocate the harmonic component of the motor measured power of a drill string drive is the most efficient solution of the problem. Indeed, when using conventional rheostat-capacitance differentiating circuits to isolate the variable components, the frequency range of operation is sharply limited by the differentiating pulse width, thus proving their unsuitability when dealing with harmonic signals. In addition, the typical differentiating circuits are characterized by a significant input signal damping both by the frequency range, and specifically for the pulse signal. Single-loop variation structure is free from the above-listed drawbacks, but the analysis of their dynamic errors under the influence of a harmonic signal is practically absent.

The authors of the article consider the frequency properties of a single-loop variation structure as a measuring transmitter, based on the analysis of the logarithmic amplitude-frequency characteristics. It is shown that the frequency properties of the structure can change under the change of settings or aperiodic links. The bandwidth of the input signal frequency is determined by the time of forcing equaling ΔT = T2T1, the frequency operating range is uniform, without any additional damping of the input signal. Distortions on the lower and upper cutoff frequencies of the operating range with 6 dB damping does not exceed 15 %, what determines the value of the dynamic error of no more than 1,5 %. Thus, the analysis suggests to conclude about the feasibility of using single-loop variation structures as measuring transducers to allocate the harmonic components of the measured values during their control and management.

To reduce bending stresses in steel drill pipes (SDP) in the place of their connection with drill collars (DC) when drilling deep vertical wells, the rules provide for DC diameter gradual reduction when moving from them to SDP, thus leading to inappropriate use of additional subs. Based on solving the problem of transverse-longitudinal bending of drill pipes bending in a well, the article determines possible numerical values of constant and variable bending stresses in SDP in the place of their connection with DC, and the necessity of a smooth transition from drill collars to steel drill pipes is conditioned by the strength of the pipes.

1 – bending strength constants in SDP in the place of the transition from them to DC when actually using combinations of their diameters present no danger for a drill-pipe string integrity; 2 – safe combinations of DC and SDP diameters in the place of their connection that ensure fatigue strength of drill pipes under all conditions that can be met during drilling, are defined.

Keywords: drill collars (DC); steel drill pipes (SDP); moments of forces; bending stresses; fatigue strengths; endurance limit; safe ratio of DC and SDP diameters.

This article analyzes the reasons of complications and accidents while drilling wells in Samara region oil fields. The Adams’ and Vickers’ methods of selection of calcium carbonate-based colmatants (bridging agents) are studied. It is found that drilling muds, prepared in accordance with the Vickers method, provide the formation of the effective internal mud cake and are recommended for use when drilling of sticky sections. Drilling muds, prepared in accordance with the Adams’ method, provide the formation of the effective external filtration mud cake and are recommended when drilling oil and gas saturated reservoirs.

The studies of many domestic and foreign scientists as well as field experience in drilling operations show that absorptions are one of the most common and costly types of complications. Therefore, the development of drilling technology in conditions of absorption is an important task and requires comprehensive study to ensure high-quality isolation of high permeable rocks. However, the situation is complicated by the diversity of mining and geological drilling conditions and absorbing layers, which can vary widely, resulting in the ineffective use of "traditional" and similar methods of elimination of acquisitions. It is shown that one of the promising and effective methods of absorbing layers isolation is mudding. The article presents part of the experimental studies for determining the intensity of mudding from time to time using a high temperature high pressure press-filter. Biopolymer bridging mixture that allows effective colmatation of highly permeable ceramic filters in a relatively short time is developed.

Keywords: absorption; permeability; pressure drop; colmatation; bridging biopolymer mixture.

Drilling and cementing of wells in high-permeable rocks and conditions of hydrogen sulfide aggression contributes to occurrence of a number of complications and accidents that can greatly increase the time and cost of wells construction. The analysis of domestic and foreign scientists researches shows that opening of such layers makes possible absorption and differential sticking, while reducing of the back-pressure – gas-oil-water manifestations. The situation is complicated by hydrogen sulfide presence in highly permeable layers. Therefore, the research, improvement and development of technological liquids compositions used for wells drilling and cementing in hydrogen sulfide-containing high-permeable rocks are an urgent problem. The article analyzes and proves the fact that currently there is no full set of process liquids, which are necessary for qualitative and safe opening and cementing of high-permeable rocks containing hydrogen sulfide. The necessity of technological liquids development to open and cement high-permeable rocks containing hydrogen sulfide is highlighted and the main requirements to them are fixed.

Keywords: process (technological) liquids; high-permeable rocks containing hydrogen sulfide; absorption; differential sticking; hydrogen sulfide.

The paper considers the problem of the wave processes flow along the length of a drill-pipe string during directional drilling, taking into account the Coulomb friction force. To solve a nonlinear problem, the method of a mechanical analog is used, which consists in the fact that a comparison is made between the wave process in an elastic rod and the mechanical vibrations of an absolutely rigid body under the action of the Coulomb friction force in either case. As a result of the comparison, a similarity is established between the amplitudes of the vibrations of the elastic rod and an absolutely rigid body in the process of changing their arguments s and t, respectively. The application of this method made it possible to find the laws of the variation of the amplitude and phase of the wave disturbance and the condition of the occurrence of longitudinal vibrations of the drill string during directional drilling.

The article describes the drawbacks of traditional anion-non-anion drilling muds. The use of traditional systems in Astrakhansky gas-condensate field by well-known domestic and foreign service companies proved lack of prospects of anion-non-anion drilling muds in complicated geological-technical drilling conditions.

The results of field testing of «Catburr» polycation system in wells Nos 939, 1082, 916 prove high potential of new solutions. Based on the results obtained, the decision on further use of «Catburr» polycation systems when drilling wells in Astrakhansky gas-condensate field is made.

The article considers the dependence of the additional temperature tension in constituent casing strings on the heat flow. The equation of tension equilibrium of elasticity theory for a cement ring and casing strings is used. The tension in the cement ring of a constituent column is determined by a decision of the plane task. Using the equilibrium tension equation and integrating this equation there obtained an analytical tension expressions with an unknown constant. The movement in the casing strings and in the external cement ring is defined. The unknown constants are determined from the boundary conditions of radial tensions conjugation and movements in the four-layer cylinder. The distribution of stresses in the casing pipes and in the cement ring of the casing strings are shown at the end of the article. The dependence of the temperature tension value on the thermal field influence is numerically calculated, the value of the allowable pressure drop is determined.

Keywords: constituents of casing strings; cement ring; thermal field; temperature tension; elastic modulus of a cement stone.

The article is devoted to the results of laboratory and experimental studies related to the use of a new hydro-phobic composition for the selective isolation of formation water in oil and gas wells. At the temperature of 40 °C or more, in the water-filled portion of the formation, the proposed reagent forms a solid water-proof gel, non-reacting with oil. The reagent isolates the pore space with high water permeability due to water inflows, thereby creating the conditions for residual oil removal from the oil zone.

Use of the composition is efficient in the wells with high water permeability and low oil permeability.

Keywords: water shutoff; hydro-phobic composition; setting time; reservoir model; oil saturation; residual oil; relative permeability.
