The article analyzes the actual and estimated data on the zenith angle stabilization in five wells Nong-Yoganskogo and Severo-Pokachevskogo fields in ten intervals (158 points of the zenith angle measurement and calculation of the lateral force on a bit), where the zenith angle was stabilized by the oriented bottom-hole assembly (BHA) by the uniform, periodic (through 90°) stick-slipping of BHA. The lateral force on a drill-bitis calculated with account of the actual wells deviation in their bottom zone. Graphs are constructed and found statistically reliable linear equations of connection of the intensity of the local zenith wells deviation (every 10 meters in its stabilization sectors) and the average (with one rotation of BHA) lateral force on a bit are developed. The qualitative similarity of such equations with the dependencies at the sectors of either increase or decrease of the zenith angle is noted. In real conditions, stabilization of the value of the average lateral force and the local intensity of the deviation vary along the approximating line almost via zero, herewith, the majority of the points tend to zero. The distribution of these values at the sectors of the zenith angle stabilization corresponds to the normal distribution law and the indicator maximum frequency occurs when their values are approaching the zero, hence the condition of the zenith angle complete stabilization should be the equality to the zero of the average lateral force on a bit. To provide the effective conditions of the zenith angle stabilization, a drilling technology with the uneven periodicity of BHA stick-slipping during wells deepening (different drilling with different angles of the deviator orientation) is suggested and described in detail.

Keywords: borehole; oriented bottom-hole assembly (BHA); local zenith deviation; deviation stabilization; lateral force on a bit; BHA uniform and non-uniform stick-slipping; length of drilling intervals; deviator orientation angle.

The article presents the results of work aimed at updating the design of the teeth cutting structures of drilling tools. The existing methods of fastening of hard-alloy teeth in the drilling toolsare analyzed. The main shortcomings of the existing methods of fastening are revealed and the directions for their improvement are determined. New methods of fastening of the hard-alloy teeth have been developed, which make it possible to improve the reliability of their fixation in the drilling tool body are developed.

The practical application of the proposed new variants of the hard-alloy teeth cutting structures will significantly increase the reliability of the toothed elements fixing in the body of the rock-crushing drill tool and thereby reduce the possibility of the teeth elements stick-slipping and falling out during the tool operation, what, in its turn, will increase the efficiency and reduce the cost of drilling operations.

An express technique to calculate the strength of the steel reinforced teeth cutting structures of roller cutter drilling tools is presented. The main load factors affecting the teeth cutting structures and the directions of their impact are revealed. It is fixed that one of the most destructive impacts on the drill-bit cutting structures are the bending loads that pay effect on the roller-cutter teeth during their "rolling" along the wells bottom area.

The conducted studies, resulted in a technique development applied to calculate the static strength of the steel reinforced cutting structures in accordance with the allowable stresses of the bend, based on the method of the given cross section.

Keywords: elastic modulus; allowable bending stress; reinforcing material.
