The article makes an attempt to consider oscillatory processes in a drill pipe string provided that the forces applied to a drill bit and the lateral surfaces of the drill pipes are inherently random. Special attention is paid to the recording of downhole vibration parameters. It is shown that the statistical approach to the problem of a drill-pipe string vibration will ensure a more complete understanding of the processes occurring at a well bottom.

Keywords: drill pipe string; hydraulic downhole motor; real vibration; well bottom; correlation function; spectral density.

The article gives a detailed analysis of the technique, technological means and technology applied to open drawdown productive formations. It is shown that the technical characteristics of hydraulic downhole motors, even supplied with a screw cap, fail to provide the required torque moment. Consequently, a well bottom rock destruction occurs in the surface abrasion mode with the fine sludge formation, which stabilizes the formed invert emulsion. The invert emulsion is formed due to the intensive dispersion of water and oil, which are the working fluid components. It is also shown that the applied technical means and technologies of the invert emulsion destruction and purification fail to fully withdraw the sludge from the working liquid. This fact causes an intensive increase of the gas-liquid mixture viscosity and density, thus leading to the transition of the balanced drilling and, finally, to the overbalanced drilling. The necessity of use of electric downhole motors when opening drawdown productive formations which due to their high energy characteristics allow to prevent the fine sludge formation and, accordingly, to prevent the invert emulsion stabilization. A technological scheme and a complex of technical means for cleaning the gas-liquid mixture from natural gas and sludge are developed. To prevent the invert emulsion formation and to achieve its destruction, a method of a de-emulsifier introduction into the charge pump intake is additionally proposed.

Keywords: opening of a productive formation; invert emulsion; de-emulsifier; mobile separation unit; electric drill; control of gas concentration; equipment assembly; means of gas-liquid mixture cleaning.

The experimental evaluation of the efficiency and hermeticity of the compressor cylinder valves of the 1st stage of the gas engine compressors (GEC) is one of the mandatory steps during their testing, preparation and tightness improvement, consequently, the efficiency and safety of the compressor valves operation. That’s why, the experimental study of the valves tightness and the increase in their operating efficiency, the determination of the flow-rate coefficient and the pressure ratio of the gas flow in the piston compressor valves, as well as the analysis of the technological parameters of the experimental study is very important.

The paper presents the results of a study of valves in a steady-state gas flow in order to determine the flow-rate coefficient and the coefficient of the gas flow pressure, entering the differential equation of the valve plate motion as well as the influence of the plates fluting on the static characteristic of the direct-flow valves.

The article considers the problem of the destruction and washing out of the mud cake when cementing wells, which, on the one hand, multiply reduces further penetration of the displacement fluids into a formation, and on the other hand it prevents a reliable separation of formations when cementing drill-pipe casing strings. Herewith, the mechanical removal of the mud cake, especially when using polymer-clay and clay-free drilling fluids, as a rule, gives no expected results, and its chemical destruction is rather problematic. The paper presents the results of laboratory studies carried out to assess the washing out property of various displacement liquids, including solutions of inorganic salts (electrolytes) with the CMC stabilizer addition both with additional reagents (NTF and Atren SA) use and without them. Based on the experiments conducted, the dependences of the washing out property (filtration power) of displacement liquids on the type and concentration of drilling fluids, inorganic salts and additional reagents, etc. are revealed and researched.

Keywords: displacement liquids; filtration power; mud cake; inorganic salts (electrolytes); polymer-clay drilling muds.

The article describes a method of wells tightness evaluation. The proposed method is based on a repeated cyclic impact on a formation, when gas is injected into a production formation followed by its withdrawal during each cycle through production wells. Herewith, each cycle provides measurement of the formation current pressure, the volume of the withdrawn or injected gas and determination of the designed pressure in the storage facility during wells operation both without gas leaks and with them. Then, the function (F) is determined without gas leaks and the function (FV) with gas leaks and when the inequality FV < F is solved, a conclusion about gas leaks occurrence is made.

The paper presents an improved method of intermittent gas lift design on the example of Anastasievo-Troitskoe oil field. Based on the physical principles of intermittent gas-lift and the physical model of a well starting-up process, the intermittent gas-lift parameters were calculated. To improve the calculations, the parameter of putting a gas-lift well into operation, being a non-steady-state process, was considered. During a well start-up, the following hydrodynamic parameters of the well vary: the pressure and the flow-rate of the injected gas, the pressure at the wellhead, the back pressure on the formation, the direction of the fluid movement in the formation bottom-hole zone, etc. The estimation of intermittent gas lift efficiency with respect to three parameters of the well operation (number of cycles, liquid flow-rate and gas flow-rate per day) is given. The graph demonstrates the optimal parameters of intermittent pumping-out. It follows from the calculations and from the diagrams, that there are modes providing for the maximal value of fluid extraction and for the required values of the liquid level at the end of the accumulation period, the so-called extreme ("optimal") mode. The estimation of intermittent gas lift efficiency with respect to three parameters of wells operation indicates that liquid level gauging at the end of the accumulation period is provided either by echoing or by the accumulation time.

The article presents the results of the researches carried out to develop the devices that will be used for pipes extraction out of the worked-out pipelines. A new innovative device and a method of pipes extraction out of the worked-out pipelines are proposed, thus making it possible to simplify and ensure the utilization of outworn pipelines like individual elements. The device consists of a housing with a front stage equipped with a unit for securing the exhaust cable, an adapter and a rear stage, a device on the front stage and a sub for the cutting the outworn pipeline that has two or more cutters with pointed blades inclined towards the working movement of the device and cutting the old pipe into two or more separate parts. A highly effective geometric shape of the inclined blades cutters for cutting the pipe of the outworn pipeline is proposed. It resembles a shark fin. The change of the value of the angle of the cutters blades sharpening allows additional reduction of the total pulling force. The sequence of operations when cutting and extracting pipes is described.

Keywords: oil and gas pipelines; an innovative device; cutting and extraction of pipes; cutter; angle of sharpening; cutting force.

The article is devoted to the development and substantiation of the methods that use the shape memory alloys (SMA) as an armature for oil and gas tanks foundations constructed in difficult engineering-geological conditions of the Far North, especially, under the influence of an aggressive environment. The practice of tanks construction proves the fact that when designing and constructing tanks in severe geotechnical and climatic conditions, it is necessary to solve the problems aimed at ensuring the stability of the foundations being under the influence of the tanks operational loads as well as preventing their destruction and reducing the uneven draft.

The aim of the present paper is a quantitative analysis of a tank foundation plate state reinforced by means of prestressing of the armature made of shape memory alloys (SMA), conducted by computer modeling. Titanium nickelide, the composition of which is close to the equi-atomic one that possesses high anticorrosion properties is taken as SMA. The paper presents an engineering calculation conducted by the finite elements method in the ANSYS software. A concrete construction like a round foundation plate for a vertical steel tank (VST)-2000, reinforced by rods made of titanium nickelide and steel was used as a modeling element. According with the results of the analytical and numerical research, the draft of the tank foundation plate, reinforced by means of the proposed method application, the efficiency of the prestressed armature SMA rods to be used for a vertical steel tank foundation was calculated.

Keywords: tank; construction of foundations; reinforcement; shape memory alloys (SMA); titanium nickelide; prestressing; draft.
