The paper presents the results of a theoretical analysis of the existing methods for assessing the technical state of metal structures of oil and gas equipment based on the method of acoustic emission. The approaches to the application of the acoustic emission method which are used in different sectors of oil and gas industryas both the main and the auxiliary method, allow assessing the dynamics of the development of both incipient and developing defects, are shown. A new algorithm for technical diagnostics and assessment of the technical state of oil and gas field metal structures is presented.

This paper analyzes the causes of failures of gas-pumping units due to the sliding bearings failure of the supercharger shaft. An operating mathematical model has been developed that allows diagnosing this fault based on the results of vibration diagnostics. The mathematical model is based on an oscillatory system of three consecutive coupled harmonic oscillators, one of which is fixed at one end of the elastic element. This system allows identifying patterns in the relationships between natural frequencies during vibrations of the gas pumping unit. To test the theoretical calculations, a systematization of vibration measurements data made at actually operated facilities was carried out.
Keywords: vibration parameters; bearing assembly; stiffness coefficients; oscillatory system.

Ensuring the stability of the wellbore while drilling wells in the fields in the north of the Western Siberia is an urgent problem. A significant non-productive time can be caused by the occurrence of complications associated with the violation of the wellbore walls integrity, which are represented mainly by fractured mudstones, subject to hydration processes when interacting with drilling fluid. The paper presents an assessment of the effectiveness of the use of the developed modification of the "NEDRA" drilling mud when constructing wells at the fields of TPP "Yamalneftegaz".
Keywords: drilling fluids; inhibiting drilling fluid; complications; "chocolate" clays; technical-economic indicators of drilling.

In 1988, specialists of "Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka" production association, as a result of drilling Shtokmanovskaya-1 exploratory well in the Barents Sea, discovered Shtokman gas condensate deposit. This deposit is one of the largest in the world. Since the discovery of the deposit, several attempts have been made to develop it. Herewith, each time the technical solutions for Shtokman deposit development were changed. Variants of installing both stationary and floating platforms for gas production in the deposit were considered. Offshore oil and gas production technologies continue developing against the backdrop of a new "green" vector in the energy sector. The energy transition makes it possible to introduce a new approach to the concept of Shtokman gas condensate deposit (ShGCF)development. Today it is possible to build and install a floating LNG plant in the deposit. Another option is building and installing a floating hydrogen production plant in the deposit. Both concepts imply the rejection of the main gas pipelines system and the transportation of products exclusively by gas carriers. The Russian oil and gas industry should take a decisive step forward and realize that the future of energy lies in renewable energy sources and hydrogen. The development of Shtokman field may become a turning point in the oil and gas paradigm for the Russian Federation, given that there are again obvious prerequisites for the project.
Keywords: Arctic; Shtokman gas condensate field; hydrogen; floating LNG plant; floating plant for the production of hydrogen.

The paper proposes a method for ensuring the optimal mode of a gas well operation in a depleted formation. In conditions of the deformed state of the formation, this method provides the possibility of continuous removal of fluid from the well bottom without the formation of a water plug in the wellbore.
