At present, the efficiency of oil extraction by applying modern, industrially mastered technologies remains low. Depending on the oil reserves structure and fields development methods, oil recovery, is 20…40 % in the average. Residual or non-recoverable oil reserves amount to 75 % of the pre-estimated geological reserves. The existing technologies fail to provide production of residual oil, otherwise they make it completely unprofitable. In this regard, the problem of oil recovery enhancement in conditions of old deposits development, which prevail in Russia, is mostly urgent. The existing methods of reservoir pressures maintenance are obsolete, bringing, vice versa, reduction of the oil recovery factor. Promising methods of polymer, foam-polymer flooding significantly increase the oil recovery factor, but the existing oilfield equipment is not effective. The practical use of the proposed new high-tech equipment will significantly improve the efficiency of old deposits development due to the oil recovery factor increase.

Keywords: oilfield equipment; oil recovery factor; reservoir pressure; centrifugal pump; single-screw pump.

A method for improving the quality of hard-alloy teeth connection in drill-bit rolling cutters is proposed. The researches prove the fact that when pressing the teeth into the housing of a drill-bit rolling cutter, a very small or even zero tightness can form. This negatively affects the strength of the tooth connection with the housing of a drill-bit rolling cutter. In case of the tightness absence or at its low values, the cutting forces arising during drilling of the rock, tear off the teeth from the housing of a drill-bit rolling cutter, which results in the loss of a drill-bit cutting ability.

To eliminate this defect and achieve a stable qualitative connection of the teeth with the drill-bit rolling cutter providing a large guaranteed tightness, it is proposed to replace the method of complete interchangeability, applied in accordance with the technology, by the method of a group interchangeability, that is, to introduce a selective assembling of teeth with the housing of a drill-bit rolling cutter. A pattern to calculate the number of sorting groups and limiting deviations of the holes diametrical dimensions and the teeth of the drill-bit rolling cutters is proposed.

Modeling of the state of the teeth and the drill-bit rolling cutter connection is carried out, the complex diagram of stress formation in the connection is shown. Steady tightness in the connection is determined, fluctuations of which do not exceed 20 %.

Keywords: quality of drill bits; cutting ability of a drill bit; breaking strength of teeth connection with drill-bit rolling cutter housing; method of group interchangeability; selective assembling of cutter of drill-bit rolling cutters; modeling of the combination of the teeth and the drill-bit rolling cutter.

In the article the reasons of insufficient reliability and low energy efficiency of steel tubing strings are analyzed. It is shown that the reasons are the corrosive sorption-mechanical destruction of the steel pipe and the formation of significant solid deposits on the inner surface of the tubing columns. The advantages of the strings made of steel tubing and couplings with polymer coating on their inner surface and on the associated threaded tubing surfaces and couplings to them are substantiated.

Attention is drawn to the fact that along with the accumulated positive experience of the use of tubing and couplings with polymer coating, there are numerous examples of their low efficiency and unjustified significant material costs. This is a consequence of the discrepancy between the quality criteria of polymeric coatings of tubing and the couplings assigned to them by the operators that are regulated by the operating organizations. The reason is the absence in the oil and gas companies of specialists of relevant qualifications. To develop corporate regulatory, methodological documentation and improve the skills of oil and gas companies in the area under consideration, it is recommended to involve the departments of oil and gas universities in standardization, certification and quality management of oil and gas equipment.

Keywords: steel tubing strings; the reasons for the lack of reliability and energy efficiency; tubing with polymer coating; the advantages of coatings; the improvement of regulatory documentation for coatings.

Strings of flexible pipes, used in coiled tubing units for well workover and drilling rigs are the weakest and most responsible element. Calculation of their life and determination of residual longevity is complicated by the fact that the material from which they are made works beyond the pale of the elasticity. A methodology for estimating the durability of flexible pipes based on the study of the work of samples tested in laboratory conditions is proposed. The methodology is based on the process of transformation of tension-compression diagrams when creating cyclic stresses exceeding the yield strength. As a result, it becomes possible to determine the durability of a flexible pipe with its cyclic loading, starting from its strength and deformation parameters under static loading.

Keywords: equipment using coil tubing; coil tubing; loading of coil tubing; loading diagram; aging of pipe material; hardening of pipe material; fatigue failure.

The experience of use of inhibiting drilling fluids in conditions of the Western Siberia is considered. It is shown that clay rocks of the region are represented by various clay minerals, have different volume and composition of exchangeable cations. They are characterized by a multitude of structural-texture specific features and other properties that determine their specificity, including a tendency to hydration and swelling. As a result of this, wells drilling is accompanied by the occurrence of complications associated with softening of clay rocks and dispersion of drill cuttings during its hydraulic transportation along the wellbore. There arise problems of environmental safety, since the dispersion of clay drill cuttings in the borehole leads to the production of the excess drilling mud and, as a result, to the increase in the volume of technological drilling wastes, as well as excessive consumption of chemical reagents.

Keywords: drilling fluids; inhibiting drilling fluids; drilling complications; dispersion of drill cuttings; drilling fluid excess.

Roller bits are the most versatile rock-destroying tool, since the field of their use covers almost all the variety of rocks.

One of the significant constructive reasons for the decrease of bits working capacity and durability is the difference in a roller bit height, caused by the organic shortage of the technology of their pressing. To improve working capacity and durability of drill bits, a new patented technological solution of the method of teeth pressing into the roller bit housing, providing their exact uniformity, that increases their operational capacity and the drilling tools durability is proposed. The proposed method is compared with the existing traditional methods of teeth pressing. The real accuracy advantages of the proposed method as compared with the conventional methods are established.

Keywords: rock-cutting tool; roller bits; provision of different height of roller cutter teeth; increases in the tools operational capacity and drilling durability.

Natural gas is one of the most important power sources in the world. Even now liquefied natural gas (LNG) is the most actively developing sector of the power industry. By 2020 its share will make about 35 % in the world gas trade, and by 2030 it will reach 60 %.

Due to the active development of LNG home market and equipment production, determination and study of LNG qualitative indicators are of special importance. The product quality is provided not only by technical-technological base of the cycle process, but also by development of standard-technical documentation that regulates functioning of the technological chain from LNG production till its realization.

The change of natural gas composition as qualitative characteristics during its technological transformation from the main natural gas to LNG is considered.

Foreign standards in the field of LNG production are discussed, the requirements of home standards to liquefied natural gas are analyzed.

The presence of aggressive mechanical impurities in the streams of working and technological environments of gas-oil pipelines is the most likely cause of failure of the pipelines’ elements. Moreover, the elements are widely used devices for managing these flows, i. e. having the greatest hydro resistivity. Namely, gate valves, plug valves, fill valves, regulators and even the simplest turning sections of pipelines. The consequences of such failures are extremely unfavorable both for the normal functioning of the equipment of production facilities and for the environment, including people. Therefore, many years of applied research into new ways to improve the reliability of such devices have been carried out. And the results in the form of realized inventions should be mastered not only in the production of gas-oil equipment and widely used in operation.
