When considering the structure of the causes of downhole sucker-rod pumps’ failures that are being operated at the fields of PJSC "NK "Rosneft", it is revealed that 42 % of them account for the pump itself. Most often, the reason for the equipment replacement is the flow reduction, that is, the failure is a parametric one. The development of measures used to increase the operational life-time of sucker rod pumps is impossible without a detailed study of root causes of failures of this equipment units, since identification of common causes of failures, such as leaks in valves or leaks between the plunger and the cylinder, give only an idea of the problem magnitude. In order to reveal any potential technical solutions that will provide increase of the operational life time of sucker-rod pumps during directional wells operation that contain abrasive particles, as well as dissolved hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, the state of the equipment units which worked 496 days at one of the fields in the Orenburg region was analyzed in detail. The conformity of the manufacture of the plunger, cylinder and the pump valve couples to the technical requirements of PJSC "NK "Rosneft" as well as the level and nature of their wear was determined. It was found that the decrease in supply was due to one-sided wear of the nickel-chromium cover of the plunger and the surface nitrided layer of the cylinder inner surface, as well as wear of the discharge valve seat made of the stellite material. The values of the speed and intensity of the plunger and cylinder linear wear were calculated. The estimated surface wear resistance of these pump parts corresponds to Class 10, that is, at a fairly high level. Based on the detailed studying the geometric dimensions, chemical composition and hardness of the seats, an assumption was made about the most likely cause of wear appearance. The determined root causes of appearance of accelerated wear of the pump parts have been identified, which made it possible to determine the technical directions for further actions that will ensure increase of operational life time of downhole sucker rod pumps used in terrigenous collectors in conditions of the presence of abrasive particles and corrosive gases in the produced fluid.
Keywords: increase of operational time of downhole sucker-rod pumps; operational time of downhole sucker-rod pumps units; pump with a nitrided cylinder; valve couples made of stellite material; wear of downhole sucker rod pumps.

Konstantin Antonovich Myagkov, computational modeling specialist, structural analyst of the 1st grade
LLC "Ideal PLM CIS" 8, bld. 1, Nauchny proezd, Moscow, 117246, Russian Federation, e-mail: myagkov_k@list.ru
The effect of the relative depression created by the drilling calibrating ejection during drilling when using an updated construction is studied. The cleaning systems are considered and analyzed by means of using the effect of creating a relative reduced pressure when the ratio of the cross-sectional areas of the inlet and outlet openings of the ejection chamber is 0,22 and the ratio of the cross-sectional areas of the central pressure nozzle and the sum of the areas of the internal cross sections of all ejection nozzles is 0,82. A computational experiment is carried out by applying the finite volume method. The absolute pressure change at the well bottom surface and the absolute pressure drop between the cross section in space after the drilling calibrating ejection unit located at a distance of 350 mm from the exit of the ejection chamber and the well bottom surface is quantitively estimated using the updated construction of the drilling calibrating ejection unit. Graphic materials are presented that characterize the behavior of drilling fluid flows as well as graphs of the changes in the absolute pressure and the drilling fluid flow rate depending on the distance from the well bottom surface. The vortex zones in the near-drill bit space and the ejection chamber are shown. The percentage increase of the drop pressure as compared with similar constructions involved into the previous studies is determined. The maximum effect of the relative pressure reduction (pressure drop) on the use of an updated construction is calculated.
Keywords: drilling calibrating ejection unit; effect of the relative pressure reduction; drill bit; ejection chamber; math modeling; Star CCM +.

Monitoring of work of a service drilling company, from the point of view of its rational use of bits, reduces the probability of accidents and helps to achieve maximum operating rate of penetration. An important and most universal parameter is the actual operational life of the tool being common to all types of drilling equipment. It provides the possibility to evaluate the practical value of a tool design and is included in the operational characteristic as its main component. When analyzing the operation of a drill bit in some cases (for example, when drilling relatively shallow intervals of wells), the mechanical penetration rate is put in the first place. A very important component when working with bits is the assessment of bits wear out. The study of the equipment wear-out provides accurate restoration of the drilling process and determination of the necessary changes to be made in the procedure of drill bits selection for drilling the next well. Drill bit running is a priority of a well construction technology and is performed by the drilling crew to rationally run a drill bit and to achieve maximum efficiency of its work. The paper describes many methods and conditions, the observation of which will increase the efficiency of drill bits use and as a result reduce the time and cost of drilling oil and gas wells.
Keywords: drill bit; load per a drill bit; mechanical drilling speed; penetration per a drill bit; drill bit operational life.

The current situation in the oil refining market strongly demands modernization of the secondary refining processes in order to improve the quality of the output product, in particular, gasoline and diesel fuel, being the most widely used products. This fact is also proved by significant investments from oil companies and a large-scale modernization, which is, nowadays, taking place in all Russian refineries. Judging by these factors, it can be concluded that an integrated approach to the analysis of quality indicators at the stage of raw hydrocarbons processing is today a very urgent problem. The paper considers the separator as one of the elements of oil refining equipment, gives its brief qualitative characteristics and also examines some aspects of certification tests as capacitive equipment, namely: hydraulic tests, tests of vessel welds in terms of impact strength, metallographic studies. A comparative analysis of domestic and foreign standardization documentation (GOST, ASME, ISO) is presented.
Keywords: separator; certification test; quality; standard.

In Russia, draw-works’ brake system at a great number of the operating drilling rigs is controlled mechanically. A drilling operator has to simultaneously monitor the readings of several instruments. There often occur cases of exceeding the permissible discharge of the drilling tools with the subsequent failure of the bottom-hole assembly (BHA) elements, loss of tools mobility, excess of the descent speed and further absorption of the drilling fluid. To reduce the risk of such complications, the driller often fails to maintain the optimal parameters of the load on the bit, which inevitably affects the mechanical speed indicators. At present, the problem of updating the fleet of obsolete drilling rigs is acute. The problem can be solved by installation of "Stream" drilling automation system. The system has proved its effectiveness when fulfilling the preset operating tasks such as reduction of wells construction time, maintenance of optimal drilling parameters, minimization of human error effect, NPT reduction, etc. The expected increase of mechanical drilling speed is achieved by the time reduction for the drilling tools orientation and maintenance of the drilling process in the optimal mode. The system automatically maintains the specified level of the pressure on the bit, pressure drop in the discharge line and mechanical drilling speed, preventing the excess of the maximum permissible level.
Keywords: drilling; surface equipment; construction time reduction; differential pressure; mechanical rate; penetration rate; effectiveness; efficiency.
