Mezen syneclise is one of the most poorly-studied territories of the European North with unclear prospects of hydrocarbon potential. The article analyzes the level of exploration, geological structure of the syneclise as well as evaluates its prospects for oil and gas fields’ availability. The characteristic of the sedimentary cover including two structural tectonic stages of development: Riphean-Vendian and Post-Devonian is given. The article also analyzes the syneclise tectonic structure and some specific features of the stratigraphic complexes, presence of reservoir strata and seals. It is shown that the regions with the highest thickness of the Paleozoic complex in the east of the syneclise are characterized by a high probability of discovery of small and medium hydrocarbon deposits. The areas with potential petroliferous Upper Riphean sediments are outlined. The Proterozoic sub-saliferous strata possess a considerable hydrocarbon potential in Vychegda trough. In the area of Koslan nose and Safonov trough there identified promising objects with good reservoirs in uftyugskaya suite and presence of regional ust-pinezhskaya seal.
Key words: Mezen syneclise; Vychegda trough; Storozhevskaya structure; Seregovskaya structure; hydrocarbon potential; hydrocarbons.

This paper contains new materials that illustrate the impact of seismic activity on the secondary migration of hydrocarbons. The main factor influencing the value of this impact is some increase of the rocks’ permeability after the earthquakes of various magnitude. Tectonic stress plays an ambiguous role in the secondary migration.

It is demonstrated that generally reservoir-rocks are characterized by a wide range of wetting rate. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic sections of pore channel surface have a mosaic distribution. For quantitative characteristics of productive reservoir hydrophilic rate the author suggests to use an efficient film thickness of residual water on the pore channel surface. If the productive reservoir hydrophobic rate increases the medium thickness of the residual water film on pore channel surface decreases and vice versa, the film thickness increases directly with the increase of hydrophilic rate. The efficient thickness of residual water film and hydrophilic property can be determined by using formation characteristic of productive reservoirs. There have been determined some formulas to estimate residual water film thickness by using productive reservoir characteristics and three-dimensional residual water saturation of the reservoir. Wettability index forecast method based on the electric methods of wells research is proposed.
Key words: wettabillity; specific surface; residual water; reservoir properties; hydrophilic property forecast; geophysical methods of well research.

EFFECT OF CAPILLARY FORCES ON WATER AND OIL DISTRIBUTION IN NATURAL TRAPS OF KOGALYM FIELD (ð. 25)

Tyumen State Oil and Gas University 56, Volodarsky str., 625000, Tyumen, Russian Federation, e-mail: bolshakov30@yandex.ru
Within the boundaries of a big Kogalymsky field there identified 54 oil deposits. The structure of many deposits gives evidence of presence of significant deviations from the principals of the prevailing anticlinal-gravitational concept of oil and gas accumulation. Basically, they are observed in oil water contact (OWC) inclined position and screening of oil accumulations along the lateral by aquifer sandy rocks. The study of the capillary reservoir-rocks characteristics proves the fact that these variations occur due to the screening of oil deposits by capillary barriers arising at the water-oil contacts in porous medium at the joints of different porous facies.
Key words: oil; deposit; water; capillary pressure; collector; capillary barrier; hydrophilic rock.

Currently, in the Volgograd region, due to the high rate of oil extraction from a great number of oil fields, the objects with very complex geological structure are being put into development. So, as far as such objects are concerned, it is impossible to achieve high extraction indicators applying traditional methods. On the example of Kudinovskoe field there are shown the ways how to increase the efficiency of such objects development.
Key words: efficiency of development; water-flooding; formation hydraulic fracturing; gas factor; complex geological structure; Kudinovskoe field.

This article examines the impact of shale on the change the reservoir filtration characteristics on the example of Dkt1 productive formation of Vakhitovsky field. It is shown that for wells with highly-permeable gravelite inter-layers the reservoir properties fall is insignificant regardless of the clay content. The maximum allowable value of clay ratio Kgl., making 10 %, is identified. If the clay ratio is higher, then in the inter-layers containing no gravelite rocks, there occurs swelling of clays when injecting fresh water. Different areas, subject to the clay coefficient effect on reservoir properties change are identified in the combined map of the maximum permeability and the average coefficient of clay.
Key words: gravelite rocks; clay factor; productive formation; reservoir haracteristics.

It is concluded that generation and migration of hydrocarbon compounds from organogenic dolomites of Ust-Kutskian horizon took place in the course of their thermal heating by sills and that the age of oil and gas fields is not older than the age of the Siberian trap formation.
Key words: Dulisminskoe oil-gas-condensate field; Ust-Kutskian horizon; oil and gas formation; trap magmatism.
