The purpose of the original research is faults’ influence on the existence of hydrocarbon accumulations and filling of traps intersected by faults. An analysis is performed for the area in the south-east of Perm region, where a lot of regional faults are identified, based on the seismic survey and well logging data. To solve the problem, a database of local uplifts, studied by deep drilling, has been developed. The above-said database allows to carry out statistical analysis of the objects by some parameters or groups of parameters.

Based on the results of the analysis, the faults influence on deposits formation and conservation in the traps of productive formations and their capability to be the reason for hydrocarbons (HC) disintegration is revealed. According to the data obtained, the main factor that pays effect on HC reserves conservation, accumulated in the near-fault structures, is characteristics of rocks being in contact on the fault plane (reservoir-reservoir, reservoir-cover). Some specific features of filling of Early Carboniferous traps that depends on the vertical amplitude of a strike-slip fault, are determined. For traps of Upper Devonian-Tournaisian hydrocarbon complex such correlation is not found out. That could be caused by the low portion of the reservoir in the formation’s total thickness and, consequently, by the low chance of reservoir-reservoir contact.

Areas of fracture-increased zones distribution, caused by tectonic faults and assigned to block noses and depressions of a consolidated foundation roof, were first identified in Pohovsky field by means of seismic-dynamic analysis of the wave field. The results of production wells operation were compared with their location relative to the detected areas of fracturing, the analysis of which showed the regularity of two-times wells productivity increase when nearing the areas. At the distance of more than 500 m from the tectonic faults the fluid inflow rates significantly decrease and a formation hydraulic fracturing provides only short-term effect. The deterioration of A reservoir characteristics worthening is caused by a decrease of rock-reservoirs permeability because of fractures proportion decrease and porous space predominance. Producing wells operation confirms the assumption of oil movement along sub-vertical destruction zones and of YuV1 formation feeding. Based on the results obtained, prospective deposits on the structure edges, to be used for production wells drilling, are identified in the zones of increased fracturing. Drilling of the second sidetracks from wells that are in the idle fund, was proposed. Thus, the detailed study of tectonic structure of the foundation surface and Jurassic sediments allows identifying complicatedly-built, small-sized geological objects prospective for detection of small oil deposits, for specification of exploration wells location, for starting the search of deposits in sub-vertical destruction zones and the foundation rocks in the territories with already detected overlying oil deposits. The identified zones of increased fracturing, including associated with horizontal shear zones allow to detect the prospective zones of increased permeability which should be located close to faults originating in the foundation.

Keywords: tectonic faulting of oil deposits; fracturing; productivity; fluid influx.

Salt sediment in intercolumn space of oil wells of one of the major multilayer fields on the territory of the Samara region (Russia) is considered as product of technogenic lithogenesis, possessing, by analogy to natural connections, typomorphic signs. By methods of scanning electronic microscopy, X-ray diffractometric and energy dispersive microanalysis, the structure is studied, concentration of chemical elements and mineralogical structure of sediment are defined. It is proved that information about the lithific sediment (benchmarks) in intercolumn space of wells is useful for defining watering sources, diagnosing through-defects of casing and pump-compressor pipes, a leakage of connecting knots and behind-casing flows. The results of researches are confirmed by the data of trade observation.

The influence of the wettability nature of the pore channels surface on the capillary pressure curves is considered. The wettability distribution in the hollow space of the productive formations is substantiated. It is shown that under mixed wettability the pore surface is hydrophobic and inter-porous contractions surfaces – hydrophilic.

The injection wells are one of the main important elements in the system of oil and gas fields development, which links surface system of communication with productive formations. During operation of oil and gas fields there happens permeability decrease of bottom-hole formations zones BHZ of production and injection wells. Particularly, in conditions of insufficient qualitative preparation of the water, injected into the formation, significant quantity of contaminants goes to BHZ of injection wells like silty and clay particles (open drain and communal waste water – up to 25 %), residual oil (when injecting produced water). To remove the contaminants, to clean and to recover BHZ permeability, various physicochemical methods of BHZ treatments are applied. The most commonly applied method is acid treatment of injection wells’ BHZ by different acid compositions. The article presents recommendations on acid compositions use to treat BHZ of injection wells as well as gives the main critical criteria, necessary to be taken into account when selecting wells-candidates to be subjected to acid treatment of bottom-hole formations zones of injection wells in carbonate and terrigenous formations.

The article discusses the method of identification of the local geological structure transformed to the state of a volumetric body, based on the use of sections’ contour lines. Each contour line is drawn in four directions. By recognizing the images by the wavelet decomposition method application, the priority direction of the structure change and the volumetric body type are determined. Priority directions of the structure change allow to obtain volumetric images, which are then used to select geological and technical measures to enhance oil recovery.

At present, one of the most urgent problems of the world gas industry is development of shale gas resources. Shale thicknesses differ from conventional reservoirs by many parameters, and by ultra-low permeability in the first turn. Peculiarities of shale gas production are short lifetime of a production well and long lifetime of a shale formation development. Due to these reasons, successful shale gas production out of a low-permeable shale formation requires application of a wide range of technologies. The article develops the unified generalized system classification of different technologies applied, when producing shale gas, as well as analyzes some specific features and objects of definite technologies application of horizontal drilling and a formation hydraulic fracturing (FHF), including few new, innovative ones (for conducting FHF) that were lately developed. The article also considers the prospects and limitations for application of the technologies of fractures distribution monitoring when conducting a formation hydraulic fracturing are discussed.

Keywords: shale gas; gas production technologies classification; horizontal drilling; a formation hydraulic fracturing; fractures development monitoring.
