The article presents the results of the seismic and borehole data analysis in the territory of Middle Messoyakhsky swell and the adjoining territory. The aim of the work is to clarify the stratigraphy of the Berriassian-Lower Hauterivian interval within the territory located at the junction of various lithologic-facial regions. Wells-stratotypes were used during the analysis, the main specific features of the suites were identified, the data of biostratigraphy were analyzed in the boreholes, the main reflecting horizons were aligned with the regional profiles with regional packs of clays and the works of other authors were analyzed. The study of the specific features of the Neocomian sediments of Middle-Messoyakhsky swell resulted in making a proposal to specify the boundary of Urengoisko-Purpeisky lithologic-facies region in the north of the region as well as in demonstrating the problem of formations indexation for further study.
Keywords: Middle-Messoyakhsky swell; lithologic-facies region; formations indexation; biostratigraphy; stratotype.

NATURAL FRACTURING AS AN
EXPLORATION INDICATOR

The Domanic formation, like the majority of well-known shale plays, is characterized by low permeability in the most part of the spreading area. In case of oil widespread presence in the oil source rocks, the main task is to get the commercial production rate of new wells. High heterogeneity of filtration properties significantly increases the risk of geological exploration and development of oil deposits (with respect to unconventional shale deposits, the boundary between these stages of the assets development is practically erased). With account of the Domanic formation specific lithology, the authors of the article paid attention to the considerable potential for fracture-type reservoirs formation in brittle carbonate rocks. To assess the role of natural fracturing as a driver of wells productivity in the Domanic formations, the authors analyzed the wells that gave inflows from the formations of Sargayev-Domanic-Mendym age (building up the Domanic formation), as well as the worldwide experience. Besides, based on the analysis of the Perm territory block tectonics, the boundaries of tectonic blocks being the areas of reservoirs potential development caused by natural fracturing were identified.
Keywords: Domanic formation; fracturing; shale plays; carbonate rocks.

A. Trofimuk Institute of Oil and Gas Geology and Geophysics, the West-Siberian branch, the Russian Academy of Sciences (WSB IPGG SB RAS) 56, Volodarsky str., Tyumen, 625000, Russian Federation, tel.: (345) 246-58-27, phone/fax: (345) 246-56-02, e-mail: niigig@tmnsc.ru
The work is a continuation of the researches that were conducted to analyze the chemical composition of the groundwaters in the deep horizons of the areas adjacent to Koltogorsky and Tolkinsky mega-troughs. In addition to the earlier performed statistical comparison of hydrogeochemical conditions within the tectonic structures of the first order and mapping of the main macro-components availability, the present article analyzes the spatial patterns of the change in the content of iodine, bromine and boron in the underground waters of the Aptian-Albian-Cenomanian, the Neocomian and the Jurassic water-bearing complexes. It is revealed that there is no regular relationship between the changes in the chemical composition of the groundwaters and the tectonic conditions of the initial period of the basin development, including the impact of Koltogorsko-Urengoy graben-rift.
Keywords: mineralization; water-soluble micro-components; water-bearing complexes; Mesozoic-Cenozoic deposits; tectonic processes; Koltogorsko-Urengoy graben-rift.

The developed method of geodynamic analysis based on the modern stratigraphic surfaces location gives possibility to detect abnormal deformation zones in the stratigraphic sections of local uplifts. They are characterized by rocks weakened areas in deposits forming the uplifts and tectonic fracturing zones throughout the whole section. A complex of geological, geophysical and recent geodynamic analysis makes it possible to detect the areas of abnormal filtration characteristics in the section.
Keywords: geodynamic analysis; local uplift; underground gas storage; stratigraphic surface.

Samara State Technical University 244, Molodogvardeiskaya str., Samara, 443100, Russian Federation, tel.: (846) 279-03-64, e-mail: a.m.silanteva@mail.ru, valeriaolh@mail.ru, gubanov93@yandex.ru
A method of quantitative estimation of the density of viscous-plastic oil reserves in a water-flooded formation is considered. The method allows to additionally account of the rheological factors influence on the completeness of oil displacement by water. To do this, it is proposed to use the nonlinear dependence of oil filtration rate on the pressure gradient in the Buckley–Leverett problem. Current reserves concentrations with the justification of the model of non-Newtonian oil flow in the presence of active water phase are calculated for B2 terrigenous formation of one of high-viscous oil fields in Samara region. The accounting of oil viscous-plastic properties in the water drive theory provides the efficiency enhancement of geological-technical measures, including the construction of wells with a dual wellbore system, thermobaric impact on a formation and water inflow shut off.
Keywords: viscous-plastic oil; gradient of pressure; relative phase permeabilities; water-flooding function; rheological parameters; density of reserves.

The article is devoted to the problem of development of hydrocarbons unconventional sources in low-permeable reservoirs-rocks. The examples of the development of the USA shale oil, Bazhenovsky and Domanic suites in Russia are considered. High metal content of shale formations was noted, which should be accounted for when developing naphthides deposits. The most important problems to be solved by the geological community for active involvement of hydrocarbons unconventional sources in the global oil and gas production are outlined.
Keywords: unconventional sources of hydrocarbons; shale deposits; low-permeable reservoirs-rocks; Domanic suite; Kenderlykskoye shale field.

The article suggests a method to simulate the near-well zone of a productive formation under the combined action of acid composition and varying effective stresses. Based on the results of calculations, an essential change of the elastic properties and permeability in the near-well zone during the acid treatment of a formation is shown. The dynamics of stress changes in the near-well zone under the influence of the acid composition is presented.

The method and the algorithm of predictive calculation of minimum horizontal components of the rock pressure of interlayers in the interval of hydraulic fracturing of a formation is described in the article. The developed algorithm shows the high convergence of calculation results with the actual data obtained from the analysis of the mini-hydraulic fracturing of the formation, thus making it possible to use the calculation data when modeling a formation hydraulic fracturing and to reliably estimate the risks associated with the development of the fracture along the height of the formation.

The paper presents a method of oil-saturation cube simulation in reservoirs with heterogeneous filtration characteristics. The dependence of the change of a reservoir water-saturation coefficient on the reservoir characteristics and marks relative to the pure water table for the conditions of Alkeevskaya area of Romashkinskoye field is obtained as well. It is established that application of this method of the oil-saturation cube simulation allowed a more reliable estimation of the initial geological oil reserves within D1 formation of Alkeevskaya area of Romashkinskoye field and an increase of the degree of convergence of the hydrodynamic model adaptation to the development history.
Keywords: transition zone; heterogeneity; oil deposit; zone of extreme oil saturation; clean water table.
