The article considers the problem of formation of fields development system that contain unconventional hydrocarbon reserves represented by small deposits with a high content of high-molecular components, such as resins, asphaltenes and paraffins. Typically, this oil exhibits nonlinear nature of filtering in void, what makes it impossible to use the majority of the known mathematical models without significant errors in the calculations.

Based on the field data of high-viscous oil production, efficient reserves extraction from any of such deposits requires formation of the development system with account of specific features of the structure and properties of these deposits and the oil that make them differ from the deposits of "conventional" oil, as well as provide search and study in each separate case of the original and non-standard solutions.

The article presents a methodology of production system formation and substantiation of wells constructions with account of complicating factors on the example of one of Samara region deposits composed by carbonate rocks. Substantiation is based on the calculation methods proposed by the authors regarding the restrictions of the used materials strength, well construction technologies and the formation maximum depression. The method is based on the well-known models of non-Newtonian oil filtration, as well as on the original proposals of the authors team.

The article presents the results of some hydrodynamic calculations to be used for determination of injection wells’ optimal operating modes in order to enhance oil production. Noting the generally positive operational results of a formation pressure maintenance system, it is shown that the local change of injection modes can significantly increase oil production. Thus, when changing the volume of water injection in 50 wells, the predicted production is increased by 78126 thousand m3 with respect to the basic variant development during the prediction period of 10 years with a maximum decrease of the formation pressure that does not exceed 25 % of the initial formation pressure.

The article analyzes oil reserves recovery from D2ml formation production sites located in the Devonian terrigenous stratum of Tuimazy field with a unique degree of selection of the initial recoverable reserves, long-term development and characteristic feature of water-oil zones (WOZ) presence, occupying more than 72 % of the deposit. The basic technological indicators of a deposit development are described. The dependence of oil recovery factor (ORF) on the portion of the contact zones area in the blocks of Tuimazy field D2ml formation, obtained during the development of Tuimazy field D2ml formation, shows that WOZ area increase of a site or a deposit reduces the achieved oil recovery factor and the efficiency of oil reserves recovery while water-oil factor (WOF) grows. Summary of the results of D2ml formation sites development allowed identifying three typical types of blocks development and grouping them by WOZ area portion in the total WOZ area.

Correlation links between WCZ area portion and ORF and WOF parameters for different types of blocks are obtained. The low and high accumulated WOF of water-floating sites are accompanied by a high rate of the produced product water-flooding starting from the site development, high input water-flooding of wells that penetrated the solid layer with the near-roof oil-saturated part of the formation due to the formation of water cone.

Keywords: well; water-oil zone; oil reserves recovery; water-flooding; residual oil reserves; oil recovery factor; water-oil factor; coning; formation; near-roof oil-saturated part of a formation.

The article presents the results of a theoretical comparative evaluation of power efficiency of "thermal" and "cold" methods applied when producing high-viscous oil are presented. It is proposed to use relative power consumption required for high-viscous oil filtration through a porous medium as an efficiency criterion. The effect of the basic parameters on the efficiency of such oil production is discussed. The temperature dependence of oil viscosity, used in calculations, is experimentally determined. The example of the measured rheological properties of Ashalchinsky field oil proves the fact that the major factors influencing the efficiency of oil production methods are temperature dependence of oil viscosity and formation initial temperature. In particular, it is shown that in the studied range of parameters when the initial formation temperature exceeds 12 °C the efficiency of oil production "cold" methods is higher than of "thermal" ones. Increase of deposits development duration brings rise of "thermal" methods efficiency. "Cold" methods of oil production are more effective when oil production rate is small and their efficiency raises with growth of the porous medium permeability. It is shown that combination of the wave influence with the "cold" methods of high-viscous oil production can appear more effective, than in combination with the "thermal" ones.

The deposits of Udmurtia Republic are of complex geological structure. Bearing in mind the reservoirs complexity, highly water-flooded fund and the cost of work it is necessary to carry out a careful selection of wells for conducting geological and technical measures (GTM). The conducted geological and technical analysis helps to identify the efficient GTM depending on their application conditions. Specialists of the Company developed an integrated approach to the selection of wells – "Sidetracking", which allows to update the work of all specialists engaged Geological Survey in this direction. The company introduced the architecture of a software and information support of geological-field data collection, analysis, projection and management of the oil fields development on the basis of OilInfoSystem and Baspro Optima geological databases as well as Roxar software package of oilfields three-dimensional modeling. A step-by-step scheme implementing a comprehensive approach to GTM selection is proposed. The technique allows selecting the maximum-potential sites to identify wells-candidates for sidetracking, problematic areas in the fields, areas with unrecovered oil reserves, ineffectively injected wells as well as forming measures to improve formations oil recovery, sidetracking and transfer wells for injection.

One of the problems, being recently solved by the oil industry, is the oil recovery enhancement of low-permeable reservoirs of complex mineralogical composition. To do this, various technologies of acid treatments of a formation bottom hole zone are used. Acid treatment make it inevitable to deal with such specific features as low penetration ability of acids aqueous solutions when treating low-permeable highly-hydrophilic reservoirs; intensive secondary sedimentation, irregularity of an acid composition interaction unevenness with the rock matrix in the volume of the pore space.

The article presents the results of compositions selection and the study of acid compositions properties to guarantee the effective treatment (in terms of a dominant wormhole formation) of low permeable reservoirs with high water-holding capacity. To solve the problem of an acid composition optimization (when studying filtration by a core), low permeable carbonate core, represented by a dolomite limestone, was selected. During testing several filtration experiments, the purpose of which was to determine the effect of chemical (concentration of hydrochloric acid solutions, solution component composition) and physical (injection speed) factors on the change of the deposit’s core samples permeability, were conducted.

The article presents the results of the multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of a formation (HFF) in horizontal wells. Noting the generally positive result, it is shown that the step-by-step hydraulic fracturing should be carried out on smaller ranges of a wellbore length, but sufficient for the formation of cracks and drainage of oil reserves. It is shown that in case of a step-by-step HFF profitability ratio should be between 1,5 fraction of unit and higher.

This article discusses the possibility of wave technologies application, developed by "The Scientific Center of Non-linear Wave Mechanics and Technology, RAS" under the supervision of academician R.F. Ganiev, to provide oil and gas recovery from a reservoir’s blocked zones. To do this, the problem of the waves penetration depth into the saturated porous medium of a productive formation is considered. It becomes important when studying the nature of physical processes occurring in a rock under the influence of the wave field.

When producing oil by the gas-lift method in offshore fields, some technological problems related to the liquid phase separation can arise due to the change of thermodynamic parameters of transportation systems. Furthermore, the formation of solid hydrated compounds that contribute to plugging of oil and gas pipelines is observed. These complications result in disturbing the technological mode of operation of gas-lift wells, oil and gas treatment facilities, main gas pipelines. Based on the field research results, calculation of the efficiency of the system of high-pressure gas transportation to gas-lift wells in conditions of offshore oil and gas deposits, is conducted. The article presents the results of the calculation of the optimal operating pressure of high-pressure gas to displace the liquid phase, precipitated during low-pressure gas transportation between the deep-water offshore platforms. A method of displacement of the liquid phase, precipitated from the low-pressure pipeline, using high-viscous elastic and gel-forming compositions, based on domestically-produced petrochemical products, is proposed.
