One of the trends for increasing the efficiency of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves production of the Bazhenov formation is the technology of a thermal gas impact on kerogen-containing rocks. To ensure proper tightness of wells cementing in such conditions, it is necessary to use heat-resistant plugging materials that can withstand thermal destruction during cyclic temperature changes.

The paper discusses the processes and mechanisms associated with the change in the phase composition of plugging materials under the influence of thermal corrosion, presents the results of X-ray phase studies that confirm their thermal stability.

Keywords: plugging materials; thermal corrosion; heat resistance; X-ray phase analysis; thermal gas impact; the Bazhenov Formation.

The paper considers statistical data on accident rate in oil and gas production. Causes initiating fire and explosion hazardous situations in a drill site are studied.

As drill sites belong to hazardous industrial facilities, when managing industrial safety, it is necessary to carry out accident risk analysis at the design stage in order to identify hazards and undesired events.

According to the statistical analysis of complications, the criteria that influence the occurrence probability of problems initiating fire and explosion hazardous situations are determined.

As a result of the work executed, a method for calculation of quantitative risk assessment indices that considers well construction conditions is proposed. The proposed approach can be applied to forecast risk level for any territory when using initial data on accident rate of a definite field or a group of fields.

Keywords: accident rate; risk factor; hazard assessment; well.

The problem of distribution of oil and liquid production between jointly operated reservoirs is considered.

Using the technique of fluid production separation according to the complex conductivity parameter kh, as well as taking into account the results of field geophysical studies, the redistribution of fluid production and water injection between the BS110, BS210, BS111 and BS211 formations was carried out monthly for the entire development period of the field.

For independent wells of each of the formations, characteristic dependences of the current water cut on the specific cumulative fluid production were built. Using these dependencies, as well as the previously distributed fluid production, the oil production was redistributed from wells jointly operating several reservoirs.

Thus, the adjusted values of oil production during each month of each well operation were obtained.

The results of analytical calculations are compared with the calculations obtained during use of joint geological-hydrodynamic model (GHDM) of the formations; calculations of the GGDM proved the greater reliability of the production division according to the applied method in comparison with the initial distribution (according to monthly operational reports (MOR)).

The calculation results made it possible to clarify the distribution of the cumulative oil production and, as a consequence, residual reserves between the formations of the considered site of the field and propose a program of geological-technical measures for each of the formations.

Keywords: jointly operated formations; redistribution of production and injection; field geophysical research; conductivity; geological-technical measures.

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of estimating the efficient injection volume in oil fields developed by using reservoir pressure maintenance systems. On the basis of generalization of the available experience, for the terminology unambiguity, the definitions of total, efficient and inefficient water injection have been developed. The concept of distribution of inefficient water injection volume into three components – surface, technical and technological losses – has been proposed. The standard decision-making scheme when analyzing inefficient water injection, including the main methods for quantitative estimation of its volumes has been developed. On the example of two objects, being developed, the technological estimation of the necessity of injection water volume regulation is presented.

A strategy for further progress of the development system has been identified, and a program of geological-technical measures has been drawn up to optimize the reservoir pressure maintenance system. The results of the program fulfillment are presented.

Keywords: methodological approach; water-flooding; system of reservoir pressure maintenance; efficient water injection; losses of water injection volumes; hydrodynamic modeling; geological-technical measures program.

Laboratory studies were carried out to determine the effect of an acid composition on the solubility of cross-linked polymer compositions and their characteristics after interaction. It was determined that a solution of inhibited hydrochloric acid (12 % concentration by volume) is able to partially dissolve the polymer gel. Under a prolonged impact of the acid composition on the cross-linked polymer gel (more than 24 hours), the latter does not dissolve completely, but undergoes structural changes, expressed by its shrinkage and strengthening. The results of filtration studies using composite core models confirm the partial dissolution of the cross-linked gel – the restoration of the rock permeability after the injection of the cross-linked polymer system with subsequent treatment by an acid composition does not occur completely.

Keywords: reservoir properties; alignment of the injectivity profile; redistribution of filtration flows; waterproofing barrier; restoration of rock permeability; average daily flow-rate; water cut.
