The authors discuss measurement importance of associated petroleum gas, flaring in the atmosphere, compare natural gas and assosiated petroleum gas from the metering poinf of view. Main terms and definitions concerning assosiated petroleum gas metering, classifications and structures of metering systems and requirements for metrological assurance are listed. Special attention is paid to the operation conditions and requirements and to the peculiarity of selection of assosiated petroleum gas flow meters for low-pressure flare lines. Flow measurment metods overview, problematic issues, experience and conclusons, formed as a result of flowmeters comparison production experiments are given.

The dynamic model of oil replacement from reservoir local zone by bottom water in conditions of cone-forming by means of lift (with the electric pump) model usage is described. The lift model considers special features of well design (value of local zone exposure), pump standard size (pressure characteristic) as well as maintains various operational regimes, determined by depression value. Quality ratings and optimal control criteria of rational choice of well completion, selection of pumping equipment and setting of well operational regimes are considered.

Algorithm and software, developed for modeling of fixed and non-fixed liquid inflow towards branching horizontal wells are suggested. Each of the above-mentioned products envisages calculation of the required showings in some special conditions. Variants for stratificated and homogeneous layers and layer with bottom water are also considered to provide liquid inflow with stationary regimes of filtration.

The article considers problems of concept of oil and gas education in Russian high educational schools and in the South Federal University. Basic contextual blocks of the concept including standard and individual educational processes, supplementary education, evaluation of education quality for correspondence to contemporary standards of 9000 ISO series, formation of social-ideological education are presented. The most important part of oil and gas educational concept is its connection with oil and gas industry, science and technologies and social-economic development of the region. Oil and gas education is based on priority of innovative strategy of fuel-energy industries development.
