The article describes solutions providing safe operation of oil preheating furnaces and route heaters (kilns). Reconstruction and automation of oil preheating furnaces and kilns made it possible not only to provide their safe operation but also to extend significantly functionality and service backup of these objects. Considerable reduction of energy consumption was achieved due to implementation of automated control system including "AMK-1" microprocessor unit.

The article studies reasons for defects detection decrease during equipment diagnosing as well as innovations in the field of defects evaluation and defects detection raise of the equipment used for production of gas, condensate and oil, containing hydrogen sulfide. Standard method of defects evaluation and defects detection raise of equipment elements as well as results of the method application are presented in the article. Some factors producing negative impact on equipment defects detection are revealed. Some techniques of raising defect detection probability of the equipment are proved.

The problem of equipment functioning reliability in gas-transport systems is extremely urgent. This article deals with the algorithm of estimation and prediction of reliability factors of gas-compressor units and automatic control systems, which uses statistical information about elements failures as input data. This algorithm is based on methods of mathematical statistics and regression analysis and provides the opportunity to obtain predictive estimate of failure rate and time between failures. In addition, the article describes the outcome of algorithm action, disagreement between industrial data about systems functioning and technical specification of these systems.

Paradoxes of salvation of some problems pertaining to schedule theory, problems of purpose in particular, on the basis of eureka algorithms of painting of incompatible graph and knapsack packing are considered. Dynamics of methanol combined with two phase well production in gas gathering pipeline systems is analyzed. It has been shown that the Inhibition process in conditions of two-phase flow is shown inertial depending on fluid volume accumulated in a pipeline. This effect should be taken into account while designing systems of methanol automatic injection.

Experimental studies and bench tests prove application efficiency of new design of the equipment meant for thermal-gas-chemical and implosive impact on productive layers. The new equipment was developed on the basis of a software complex. Raising technology of efficiency of formation critical zone processing is stated to happen due to deeper penetration of working substances (chemical agents, gases, etc.) into a productive layer and more intensive rock dissolution.

The authors respond to the criticism of the effective pore space (EPS) concept. A claim of incorrectness of multiphase flow modeling in terms of the EPS concept is countered.
