Analytical ratios for determining rational (optimal) time of a bit operation at the bottom hole for the most typical models of mechanical drilling speed are revealed. Some methods applied for obtaining the appropriate model of models parameters estimation by means of the least squares method are studied. Possibility of construction of penetration a priori function corresponding to standard normative data in order to use this information in a recursive algorithm of penetration rate control and to predict the optimal time of a bit operation on bottom hole is shown for the linear model. Possibilities of predictive estimation application while calculating characteristics of not fully exhausted bits are demonstrated. Specific examples of predicting the optimum time of a bit operation on the basis of the real information are considered..

The article considers concept of designing new turbines for turbo-drills. The advantage of traditional approach with account of contemporary view on power characteristics of a turbo-drill, designed for operation with diamond drill-bits, is shown. Some results of field testing of a new power-increased turbine designed for drilling of deep wells by diamond drill-bits in case of usage of high-density drilling mud are submitted.

"CLEANING OF DRILLING MUD FROM SLURRY AND SOME WAYS OF ITS PERFECTION."

The system of drilling mud cleaning from drill cuttings has been perfected for a long time starting from the simplest gravitational pits. Modern technology of drilling mud cleaning includes three-four stages, namely, by means of usage of vibro-screens, hydro-cyclone slurry separators (sand and silt separators), separators and centrifuges. The main disadvantages of this cleaning technology are its bulkiness and big amount of metal, mechanical crushing of cuttings, besides, it is very expensive.
One of perspective techniques of drilling mud cleaning appears vibration sedimentation under a filter screen. This technique realizes three effects: filtration through cellular material, intensification of sedimentation due to decrease of solution efficient viscosity and only down pulsating constant movement of slurry. The efficiency of the technique is proved experimentally and there exist some technical proposals in the form of patents.

The article considers problems of well construction in argillaceous deposits. Clay stabilization during its contact with drilling mud is proposed to be performed by means of forming hydrate combinations of inclusions in it. It was connected with conditions assessment and possibility of hydrate formation during the process of clay hydration. Combinations, capable of providing hydrate formation and non-permeability, are chosen.

Operational experience of storage tank farms witnesses the most intensive deterioration of the bottom and the bottom belts of a storage tanks body, being in direct contact with salty produced water, and the roof of the tank. The article submits characteristics of produced waters from different oilfields the analysis of which recommends performing of pre-computations pertaining to the choice of ground protection with account of dependence of specific electric resistance of NaCl solution on its concentration.

The effect of orthophosphoric acid on changing of filtrating rate of water and hydrocarbon fluids of sandy and carbonate rocks of the deposits of the Ukraine is studied.
It is proven that the orthophosphoric acid and its salts are proved to pay impact on physical processes of rocks watering. It is also established that for use at the field. The optimal concentration of the orthophosphoric acid to be used in field conditions is stated to make 10 %.
