The article discusses positive effect revealed during deposit development with partial degasification when injection wells are disposed in the upper part of inclined deposit. In this case free gas phase in water injecting area is kept till the end of deposit development while some part of oil is displaced into lower layers towards hole bottom.

The article presents data testifying some peculiarities of oil deposits development undersaturated by oil, namely, lack of free of water operation, quick growth of water flooding and considerable portion of water in accumulated water extractions, lower coefficient of oil recovery intensification. Indicators of these deposits development correspond to indicators of contact water-oil zones, which traditionally refer to deposits with difficultly recovered oil stocks.

Experience, derived during deposit development of bobrikovsky horizon of Grafsky oil field, was analyzed to prevent early water flooding of well product. The studies prove that in the majority of cases wells are initially water-flooded not by deposit waters but by pumped waters. This fact witnesses two stages of water flooding.
