The basic stages of prospecting works on oil and gas on the territory of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) are considered. The defining role of scientific studies in creation and consecutive specification of a geological basis for placing of oil and gas prospecting in the region is noted. The general retrospective analysis of scientific ideas change about petroleum potential structure and peculiarities of large tectonic elements and similar oil and gas areas is carried out. Prospects of petroleum potential priority territories, including those close to "East Siberia-Pacific Ocean main gas pipeline are specified. Recommendations on optimization of prospecting technique and increasing of its efficiency are resulted.

Sixteen seismic facial complexes outlined in the section for regional studies were united into four sub-complexes, each of which got its own structure scheme. Litho-facial maps were drawn on the basis of structure-schemes, paleo-geomorphological, paleo-anthological and other data. Analysis of connection of sediment accumulation litho-facial conditions with section petroleum potential was carried out. In accordance with this analysis, the main petroleum potential of Neocomean stage complex is connected with deposits of sub-water accumulative valley and sediments of slope foot.

The paper presents contemporary views of tectonic zoning of the southern part of Nizhnevolzhskaya oil and gas bearing area on the basis of the data on the surface of crystal foundation structure and paleo-tectonic analysis of sedimentary thicknesses' formation and their correlation with the crystal foundation surface. here is Contemporary structural plan of sediments, formed as a result of tectonic movements of foundation blocks and regional inclinations of territories and local objects having brought formation of uplifts of different type is also investigated.
At present oil and gas prospecting efficiency may be provided only with account of up-to-date knowledge of geological structure of oil and gas prospective areas and application of methods of their preparation, corresponding to this knowledge.

The article contains results of studying of hydrodynamic, statistic, field-geophysical and sedimentary characteristics of Botuoba and Khamaka horizons of Chayanda oil-gas-condensate field. Some suggestions as to the nature and structure of hydrocarbon bearing formations (deposits) as well as recommendations on formation testing which may be used during additional prospecting and development are given.

Productive Vikulov Formation (aptian, Low Cretaceous) stratigraphic relations defining is an important task for routine well correlation, oil-pool models working out and regional stratigraphic scheme specification. Vikulov Formation sequence-stratigraphic model with erosional Unconformity and associated Incised Valleys based on Kamennoye field data successfully applies for neighbor fields of Krasnoleninskiy Arch. The new geological and geophysics data give additional fact material for the further model development. Erosion unconformity (Sequence Boundary 1) is identified in the core of one of Kamennoye field well. Location of this boundary was reviewed outside of Incised Valleys; forced regression deposits were identified. The regional stratigraphic location of sequence boundary was defined.

Application of sedimentologo-facial modeling for substantiation of operational object and decreasing risks of gas wells water-flooding is discussed in the present article with Senoman stage gas deposit of Kamennomysskoe-sea gas field being taken as an example. Thermodynamic parameters change in Senoman deposits due to the depth is studied in detail as well litho-facial composition of collector deposits. Some recommendations on perforation intervals choice are given.

The article presents results of experimental studies of influence of porous medium, layer temperature, residual water saturation and condensate density on quantity of produced condensate during gas-condensate deposits development. These experiments allowed deeper understanding of the process under study and suggest new approach to determination of condensate recovery out of gas-condensate deposits under depletion regime of their development.
