The basic prospects for oil and gas bearing in the Vendian terrigenous complex are connected with the south-western part of Baikit oil and gas bearing region where thick cuts of Taseevsky series are developed. Application of detailed correlation methods and usage of dependences of quantitative (porosity, permeability, thickness) and qualitative (coefficient of sandy) characteristics allowed to estimate the reservoirs quality. On the basis of the researches Collectors capacitive characteristics in nepskian, tirskian and low-danilian regional horizons of the Vendian terrigenous complex were obtained as well as zones of structural-lithological traps development were revealed on the basis of the research, being recently carried out.

Riphean and Ordovician riftings brought along disintegration of the eastern part of hard Archean-Low Proterozoic East-European craton. Late Devonian collision processes in the Ural paleo-ocean and shrinking of the eastern flange of East-European continent inspired inversion of rifting zones, namely, formation of the eastern flange of Buzuluk depression and also Early Hercynian inversion swells. Buzuluk depression includes rich oil and gas bearing basin of Volgo-Ural province, where a number of large zones of oil and gas content is under control of Early Hercynian inversion swells.

Some regularities of distribution of dispersed organic matter in Mesozoic oil and gas bearing complexes of the western part of Fore-Caucasus are considered. Maps, containing information on distribution of residual content of organic matter (Corg) in Triassic, Low, Middle and Upper Jurassic deposits as well as in Low and Upper Cretaceous deposits of the western part of Fore-Caucasus and the north-western part of the Caucasus, are drawn. Basic factors, effecting accumulation and distribution of dispersed organic matter in Mesozoic oil and gas bearing complexes, are revealed.

Zonation of rock-collectors permeability change of Parfenovsky producing horizon of terrigenous Vendian of Kovyktinsky field is studied. Permeability estimation is fulfilled by combination of log data and core results. Construction of fields and profiles of permeability predicted change is carried out on the basis of effective thicknesses analysis, sand content, porosity and disintegration of productive deposits.
