Some peculiar features of geological structure and generation conditions of Low Jurassic formations on the territory comprising western part of Tomsk region are considered. A set of charts of structural surfaces, charts of gross and efficient thicknesses of Yu10-Yu11 basal formations as well as surfaces of Pre-Jurassic formations are developed and analyzed. Possible perspective objects are revealed and mapped.

Geological structure of Paleozoic deposits on the territory of south-western part of Sverdlovsky region, which is tectonically referred to Yuryuzano-Sylvensky depression, is revealed during newest detailed seismic survey carried out with the help of 2D and 3D CDPM (common depth point method). Real possibilities of seismic survey for mapping of complicatedly-built hydrocarbon traps and collectors prognosis are shown. Prospects for oil and gas bearing of the territory are presented.

Monomsky volcanogenic reservoir coming together with Nedzhelinsky and Taganjinsky appears hydrocarbon natural reservoir in Low-Triassic rocks of Khapchagai of Vilyuisky syneclise. Complex method of dissection allowed essential increase of gas saturation volume of Tolonsky field (Monomsky reservoir) due to inclusion of fractural differences of volcanogenic rocks providing remarkable growth of gas resources volume, calculated previously.

The article considers problems pertaining to predicted development of local carbonate platforms (massifs) of Upper Devonian-Low Permian age in flank zones of Eastern-Barents megalithic trough. They are compared with similar platforms of Pre-Caspian depression, structure peculiarities of which are studied by means of drilling. Some factors witnessing oil content presence are discussed. Some supposition concerning probability of formation of oil accumulation regional zones, linked with local carbonate platforms, is made. The necessity of studying their structure in detail by means of tightening the network of seismic survey is stressed.

The solution of an inverse problem of geophysics is always multiple-valued. This problem can be minimized by means of combination of methods and usage of "control" data during interpretation, for instance, well drilling results. When geophysical and drilling data are insufficient there appears necessity to analyze all possible geological models. Model of "normal" section structure of Moscow syneclise sedimentary thickness including trap-rocks in Devonian deposits is analyzed.

Thermal cyclic heating leads to improvement of permeability of a bottom hole zone. The present article discusses processes of rocks deformation due to thermal cyclic heating with sand core samples and lime-stone taken as an example. Micro-structural changes in rocks are illustrated as well.

The article considers methods of specification of rock-collectors structure and distribution in 11-2 formation of Samotlor field based on data of geological-statistical sections (GSR data), the results of which provided specification of distribution of collectors with different lithological characteristics along a vertical and a lateral. This procedure allowed developing maps of separate typical inter-layers. The first inter-layer is a "clay ryabchik" and a "real ryabchik", the second interlayer is a "sandy ryabchik", the third interlayer is a "real ryabchik", the fourth interlayer is a "sandy ryabchik", the fifth interlayer is a "sandy ryabchik" and "argillaceous sandstone and siltstones". Application of maps developed for choosing technology of oil replacement provides raise if efficiency of oil resources recovery.

Objects of pashian and kynovian horizons of Romashkinsky field developed by NGDU "Almetievneft" entered the 4th stage of development already in 1985.
Drilling of new wells appears the most essential contribution among the measures providing current volume of oil production at the late stage of oil field development.
Horizontal drilling technologies and drilling of small diameter wells are widely used in NGDU "Almetievneft" lately.
Within the last ten years 2,5 times increase of new wells flow rate is reached, being the result of both detailed study of geological structure and preparation of development sectors to formation pressure and of conducting some complex of measures aimed at reaching of the required quality of well construction followed by their further operation in optimum mode, application of formation hydraulic fracturing and introduction of equipment of separate operation.
