Some results of stratigraphic researches of Jurassic regional complex of West Siberia, which were discussed at six inter-departmental regional stratigraphic meetings, starting from 1956 till 2004, are submitted. New recommendations on litho-facial zoning of Low-Middle Jurassic and Upper Jurassic deposits of West Siberia are presented.

The structure of ultimate potential resources of raw hydrocarbons of the Nenets Autonomous District is considered. The dynamics of petroleum production during the period of 20042010 is analyzed. Petroleum production forecast for the medium-term period of time (20112020) is made. The analysis of spent volumes of geological prospecting works on oil reserves reproduction is carried out. The forecast of efficiency of geological prospecting works for raw hydrocarbons in the Nenets Autonomous District is made. New directions of zonal-reconnaissance and regional geological prospecting works are distinguished. The recommendations regarding directions of oil reserves reproduction are proved.

Basic non-prospected hydrocarbon resources within the limits of Astrakhan dome are linked with Visean-Bashkirian oil and gas bearing complex in its peripheral part. Traps which are dated to zones of local (spot) fracturing should be referred to the top priority ones. Their summarized predicted resources make 2 billion tons of oil equivalent. Traps with big and average resources are dated to anticline structures within the limits of north-eastern and western near-slope parts of the dome fold. Their summarized predicted resources make 6000 billion tons of oil equivalent.

Nepa arch is one of the most petroleum perspective areas of Siberian platform. The article defines stratigraphic criteria of oil and gas occurrence of Vendian terrigenous deposits on the basis of re-interpretation of geophysical well logging and seismic data as well as presents forecast of new oil and gas perspective territories.

Selection of the most effective technology of influence on a layer is one of the primary goals during fields development. The most efficient choice of geological-technical activities requires knowledge of how the liquid filtrates in a near-well zone towards holes and cracks left after some operational activities. Availability of such information leads to efficiency rise of the proposed activities thus brining improvement of technical and economic indicators of fields development. Inflow profile to channels was studied by means of a hydrodynamic complex. The received results proved the fact that geological-technical activities efficiency strongly depends on a layer filtration characteristic. Technology of influencing on a layer should be selected for each separate well depending on the volume of oil saturation of the layers opened by it. By the received results Recommendations on geological-technical activities selection are provided in accordance with the results obtained.
