The article discusses the way for identification of changes in the hydrosphere that occur when oil spills. The results of experimental studies have shown that the more important information is given to study pore water, depressed from fine clay soil and sediment. They reflect the diverse forms of content migration of toxic elements that could re-contaminate the groundwater and reservoirs.

The article considers the development of integrated methods for complex water quality assessment in view of evolution of environment regulation and assessment system. To assess marine environment quality in the shelf areas of oil and gas development, it offers the ensemble method, which combines combinatory and multi-criteria assessment. The article contains examples of the marine environment assessment with help of this method. The results of ensemble assessment of marine environment quality can be used for regulation of anthropogenic loads on marine areas which are used economically.

Model emulsion of water in diesel fuel stabilized by high concentration of cation type surface-active agent was passed through filters with fillings different in water repellency. It is defined that the most separation efficiency is achieved under emulsion passage through fillings both with hydrophilic and hydropholic centers cotton and foam polyurethane.

Uniqueness of the Orenburg oil and gas-condensate field consists in rich content of valuable hydrocarbonic and non-hydrocarbonic components in the gas, including helium.
Volume share of helium in the gas is low 0,055 %, so it is described as dry, helium-bearing gas.
Special properties of developing complex technology of helium separation from dry helium-bearing natural gas are presented in the article.

In this article the possibility of efficient application of the second growing season rhizomatous crop Phalaroides arundinacea under soil bioremediation in initial 5 and 10 % oil pollution is shown. Soil plant-microbe complex biological activity indices and physiological and biochemical characteristics of reed canary grass planted by rhizomes were used. The use of these indicators has allowed the reaction of plants on various oil pollution levels, the stability to high oil concentration toxic action to be estimated. The perspectivity of P. arundinacea plants usage as an oil polluted soil phytoreclamation agent (510 %) was shown.

The paper describes experimental series for investigation of movement of Tubificidae worms (Limnodrilus hoffmeisteri Claparede, 1862) in artificially oil-polluted sludge. The worms have been firstly placed to clean parts of sludge bottom in aquariums and then counted in clean and polluted parts of bottom daily. It has been reliably shown during the experiments that the worms prefer clean (unpolluted) parts of sludge bottom. There was no reliable difference in the worms number between clean and polluted parts at crude oil concentration of 2 g/kg.
