The article discusses the following three variants of development of high viscosity oil deposits: the first variant includes cycling water pumping with a small part of produced high viscosity oil; the second variant considers usual water flooding; the third one is a combination variant, including first usual fifty percent (50 %) water flooding followed by cycling water pumping and a small part of produced high viscosity oil. The third combination variant proved to be the best.

Over past 20 years horizontal wells have found wild efficient application. Much progress is archived in viscous oil recovery due to implementation of steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) techniques. But nowadays using of horizontal wells for thermal recovery doesnt guarantee high horizontal sweep by injected heat-carrying agent. Actually it depends on subsurface geology, reservoir and fluids properties and initial reservoir conditions. One may say that problems of efficient viscous oil recovery from thin oil fringes has not been solved yet.

"Azneft" Production Association comprises a number of NGDU (Oil and Gas Production Departments) exploiting high viscosity oil wells in various horizons Exploitation of a unit with SQN makes the work of valves more complicated due to presence of high viscosity mixture in well production. The task to overcome complications was solved mathematically. Maximum rising height of inlet valve ball is defined on condition of equity of liquid column, coming through cross-section of unit inlet valve seat, to surface formed by cross-section of truncated cone, appearing due to stem revolving around its axis. VKU-44 and NKU-44 valve units, specially constructed for NN 2-44 pumps, allow to minimize high viscosity oil leakage at USSHN exploitation. From economic point of view this leads to substantial increase of wells debit, pump efficiency and installation overall efficiency.

The article presents results of selection techniques of SHFLU utilization by ranging. Recently, thermally expanded graphite has been widely recommended as a sorbent with high absorbing capacity. However, low bulk density of sorbent, ready for transportation, requires a vehicle of greater size. Process of graphite thermal expansion demands plenty of thermal energy, thats why it is industrially manufactured on stationary installations. New technique of sorbent, manufactured on the basis of the oxidized graphite directly on the site of liquid hydrocarbon flooding liquidation, is suggested to improve its consumers properties.
