The article discusses oil extraction out of contact water and oil zone (WOZ) with transient zone (TZ) by means of horizontal wells usage. Oil in WOZ is not heterogeneous, so fluid of transient zone (oxidized oil) was modeled as the third phase with big viscosity and density. Deposit collector was looked upon as heterogeneous by permeability.

The article presents results of numerical studies of changing dynamics of oil outputs, liquids, water flooding, gas factor, formation pressure and KIN depending on gas and water pumping volumes and a number of edges in time during water and gas impact on formation. It is stated that the more edge gas volume is pumped into formation as compared with water and a number of edges for heterogeneously-permeable porous-fractural collector, the better mass change between gas and oil and, consequently, KIN.

"PROBLEMS OF SPIRAL PUMPS OPERATION IN WELLS WITH HIGH VISCOSITY OIL CONTAINING SAND."

The article presents analysis of complications related to availability of sand in oil produced from wells equipped by spiral pumps. The author shows that raised content of abrasive particles in high viscosity oil increases pump rotor and stator wear, decreases pumping and causes failure of pump due to over heating of elastomer in abrasive media, its melting and sticking to rotor. Dynamics of decrease of spiral units pumping and increase of consumed current strength by pump drive are given as well.
